Team has played like shit for the last two games and are finally getting what they deserve. Hopefully this is a wake up call for the entire club that they aren’t nearly as good as they think they are.
Deserve wasn’t the right word. More so about how the team has played poorly the last couple of games and got lucky with the results. Today was the first game where we were punished for level of play exhibited. I was also just frustrated in general with there being 30k Frankfurt fans in attendance. I don’t even know how that is possible.

It’ll be interesting to see how they finagle registering all these players. It’s never felt like we’ve used Frenkie the right way and I don’t understand why Busquets continues to get penciled in as a starter. I imagine Memphis and Braithwaite are the next ones out the door.
Busquets and Pique should’ve been jettisoned a while ago. Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, et al. all knew when to hang it up both for their own career and the good of the club. Unfortunately, wages got out of control and there’s no way they don’t forcefully collect on all of it.
Would like to get this Kounde deal done soon. What a window this would be if we got him on top of Lewa, Raphinha, Christiansen, Kessie. Azpiliqueta and Alonso deals still being worked too.
Team has the quality to contend for everything. The post Messi era (sadly) may be turning the corner. not sure I see the need for Raphinha with Dembele still on the roster.
