Brent Grimes' wife says he gave OK for her to bash Dolphins so he could be cut July 12, 2017 “People say I got him cut with my mouth,” Miko Grimes told SI.com. “Duh! That was the goal!” The legend of Miko Grimes and her Twitter account grows. Miko told SI that with Brent Grimes contemplating retirement as the Dolphins threatened him (again, denied by the team), her plan was to go “as wild as possible on social media” and her husband signed off on it. “[Brent] said, ‘Go for it,’” Miko Grimes told SI.com. “I got his full permission to be as disrespectful to the Dolphins as I wanted to be. And I threw in Tannehill because I don’t like him or his wife.” Amazing. If the plan was for the Dolphins to cut Brent Grimes because Miko Grimes was too wild, it worked. The Dolphins cut Grimes, and he signed on with the Buccaneers for $13.5 million over two seasons. Brent had a very good 2016 campaign with the Bucs. The Buccaneers, by the way, will be featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” later this summer … think their camera crew will spend some time talking to Miko? All of this tells us that you’re one of the 22,000 people who follow @IHeartMiko on Twitter and see she’s blasting a troll or making some other controversial (or off-color) statement, just realize there might be a plan behind it.
This tweet reminds me of those summer threads you'd see on finheaven.com about what the first play of the season would be.
Not much of a story to it Either Ross will let the team sign him or they won't The only story here is if the team puts calming down racist babies over the best chance to win football games
really. you don't think his comments on Fidel Castro would add an extra dynamic to signing him in Miami...
Lol no he didn't. Hes just not very good. The guy has no touch and just flat out doesn't see open receivers. If he was actually a good qb none of this other shit would even matter, that's proven time and time again
naw. he never apologized or walked it back. When Salguero called him out on it last year, he danced around it and started talking about Cuba's high literacy rate but never said anything about not supporting the oppressive things he did.
yeah he did "Trying to push the false narrative that I was a supporter of the oppressive things he [Castro] did is just not true," Kaepernick said. "I said I support the investment in education, I never said I support the oppressive things he [Castro] did." https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor.../colin-kaepernick-fidel-castro-cuba/94522192/
So he supported everything else castro did but didn't support the oppressive stuff? that's not a retraction or an apology. he is clearly ignorant to how evil of a man castro was.
he said he didn't support the oppressive stuff, that's what i said he said it wasn't an apology, i'll give you that and that's my bad for misquoting him but idk how you got that he's "clearly ignorant to how evil of a man castro was" out of that, seems like conjecture with a dash of hyperbole on your assumption about him (i know castro was an evil person i'm not saying anything about him in this thread)
It's a pretty rationale statement. Evil is Evil. You can't pick and choose what you like about a person like that and pretend the truly awful shit about them doesn't exist. It shows you don't understand how evil that person was.
We do this all the time in modern society But I guess this kind of answers if he'll get signed here because if you're up in arms at the intimation of him getting signed then I wonder what'll happen when its folks who actually matter
We do this all the time? Don't see many people out there talking about any positives of Hitler without universal scorn. And i'm not up in arms. If he gets signed here, I won't be happy about it because it will create a legitimate mental conflict for me, but sports teams sign worse people all the time and I don't stop going. This won't be any different.
We do it with confederates, presidents, foreign leaders We suck Henry Kissinger's old moldy dick and he's a war criminal
Really? I guess all those confederate statues being taken down all over the south was fake news? And that's just art. It's not on the same level as someone talking about the "positives" of the south. Yea, you have people who try to pull that shit and everyone with a semblance of common sense tells them that they are idiots.
Have you seen the objections, protests, and death threats? I'm sure you've seen the flags all over Florida It wasn't done unanimously But we as a modern country deify Kissinger and I'd say he's killed more innocent people than Castro. So we do exactly what you said no one else does
Bringing up Hitler was a heck of a leap though, didn't have to go back that far to find someone worse than Castro
