Conor trying to sell his next fight
Even giving them the least possible benefit of the doubt here, he did have some sort of issues with his left leg in training. Seems like putting that leg in harms way, voluntarily, over and over, was a terrible approach. Unless the leg was 100% cleared and he was told there were no issues or potential damage from the previous injuries.
In the first half of the first round Connor was throwing kicks as hard as I've ever seen him throw. One (or more) of those kicks cracked his tibia. It wasn't his foot, it wasn't his ankle, it was the part of the shin strikers use to make contact kicking.
Cupcake is back
That kid fought out of Jax Beach dblplay1212
Word is he trains in Publix parking lots.
Clown Baby approved?
That dude's face is hamburger
Really enjoyed that fight
Looks like he got into a scrap with a steering wheel
You're the best
That arm bar/kimora was scary
Stephens with the insta tap… wasn’t trying to get injured. Do they usually sit on the head when they do a kinmura??
that killed my DK btw…
finally Islam time
these non ppv I care about should go til 1 am
Tate just said she wants to challenge Nunes for the belt
I double checked the weight classes immediately after she said that
vieira/Stoltzfus u1.5 +110
D-Rod x Cupcake +107
I've been watching this shit on stream bc I didn't realize it was on ESPN
Nunes may retire by time Meisha gets a title shot. I think Tate needs 2 more fights before she's ready to challenge anyone, but that doesn't mean it will take that long.
If Nunes retires anything is possible. It's a winnable division.
Just watched Chandler shit himself when Islam called him out on TV
This makes sense but in the moment I was like "lol what"
is there video of this?
It jusr happened. Give it an hour or a morning
during that benitez-quarantillo fight, the mic picked up the doctor asking benitez if he had a headache as one of the criteria for stopping the fight. no one is ever going to say yes. bisping made fun of it too. why even ask that question? ufc covering its ass i assume?
This fight must happen. Perfect challenge for Islam’s ability. If he rag dolls RDA, then this division is toast.
No way Khabib agreed to fight a guy who has lost 4 out of 6
That was just shit talking
Video some guys have referenced in the media talking about Sandhagen/Dillashaw's sparring/training sessions. Pumped for this fight
Listened to a bit of an interview with TJ yesterday. First question was why the hell would you take this fight. He said it was the highest ranked guy the ufc would give him. Good luck with that. He very well may win but his hands will certainly be full.
Damn it doesn't feel like 2.5 years since TJ fought. Shit like that makes me realize how fast life is flying by.
And he said he was supposed to fight for the belt but the knee happened. So he didn't want to wait.
I had Schaub's podcast on yesterday for the first time in awhile because he covered the Ariel/Dana stuff. He said everyone that works with Ariel says the same thing: he's hard to work with. Most everyone dislikes him, etc. Apparently Luke Thomas hates Ariel. I don't know all the background there.
I also didn't remember the specifics of why Dana banned/hates him but he released some news on Brock Lesnar back in the day when asked him not to? That can't be all there is to it.
Dana is a petty motherfucker
Bald guys get all the love.
Yes and he vowed to run Ariel's life over it
So they gave him this big story on Lesnar but told him to wait until they break the story to run with his article, etc. He chose not to listen and now is in the situation he is. Is that accurate?
No, someone from Lesnar's camp leaked it to Ariel I think. There wasn't even talk of Lesnar's return before Ariel broke the news and Dana wanted to shock the world with the announcement.
At least that's how I remember it
It was really weird to see Schaub basically say Ariel made his bed and now has to lie in it when Schaub and Dana hate each other too.
He framed it like Dana knew Ariel had the story, told him to wait to release it bc as you said Dana wanted to shock the world. Ariel chose not to. Dana did Dana stuff. Idk how sorry I should feel for Ariel.
Ariel claims to be making way more money now so hard to feel bad for him. ESPN is in bed with Dana so i’m sure his life was hell there.
I think he said the offer he got from ESPN was low and almost insulting.
I think Ariel is arrogant as fuck but he's also the best MMA reporter. And he knows it.
Yeah but now he’s got deals with like Spotify, the ringer, bt sport, etc. So he is making more and not having to deal with Dana and ESPN.
Zero question there. He is the best.
He was almost in tears in that Lebatard interview. He's not going to outlast Dana. BT Sport is cool but come on. You were at ESPN essentially running the UFC content, the sport is only getting bigger, more exposure, more opportunities, etc.
