That doesnt make a lot of sense for either side. Does that mean it just becomes open free agency at some point for all of the fighters? When will that be? I think the top of Bellators roster is decent and would have really helped the PFL. Usman Nurmagomedov will end up in the UFC now, and Im sure theyll miss out on others too
Yeah I was thinking if anything, Paramount might give up Bellator in exchange for something like PFL tv/streaming rights.
I'm not sure what's the best way forward for him. Either the UFC needs to keep sending him in there vs cans or he needs to stop fighting so much and focus on training and improvement. I just don't see how he's going to improve up to top level if he's fighting 4-5 times a year.
Didn't understand why Valentina wouldn't push the striking advantage she had. Also, 10-8? The judging fuckery in this sport is comical
At one point while Grasso was on top she landed like 20+ straight punches and multiple submission attempts. It was pretty lopsided at the end
Late, But if that was a 10-8 round then the judges have missed dozens of 10-7 rounds this year alone.
Tough read. https://www.cnn.com/2023/09/20/sport/angela-victoria-lee-mma-suicide-attempt-spt-intl/index.html
followed by discussion. Everyone in the meeting was aligned with the 5th round of the main event being scored 10-9 Grasso. Here are some of the slides shown on what constitutes a 10-8 round:
A little story about how they try and shutdown these streaming sites. Didn't know where else to put this. Below is a list of the domain names that (previously) pointed to suspended nameservers.
Nope, they're always changing their domain extensions, or whatever the dot com, dot sx, dot me are called.
Guy I know does the hacked Firesticks. Pitched it to me the other day with "Hey you can watch all the UFC for free." I politely told him I had a guy.
Just listened to Michael Bisping and Anthony Smith’s podcast from yesterday. They had Bryce Mitchell on. I knew that guy was out there, but after listening to that, I was floored. He is legit insane. He spent 20 minutes preaching about the rapture and told them he fucked up his back because he used to run 10 miles every day in cowboy boots. It was an entertaining listen, at the very least.
Wow UFC working overtime trying to find a big name Paddy can get a win out of. Gonna laugh when a washed up Cucuy submits him.
I'm shocked the UFC is ok with Rogan having Francis on his podcast to spill all of the negotiation drama. From the YT clips I saw, Francis makes the UFC look pretty bad.
