There just aren't many good cards anymore

 

This card is deep as hell. IMO.

and it’s a solid mix of vets and prospects which is nice. Feels like UFC alternates between cards that are full of fighters 5-10 years past their prime and cards full of fighters who may never have a prime.

 

Yeah this is a nice card but I’m getting to the point of I just don’t care unless the main event is a banger on paper.

The Eastern Euros are going to end UFC eventually lol.

 

I do not think Asakura has a shot, so hopefully Pantoja does something cool on his way to victory. And I suppose Asakura does have a punchers chance, he has good power, but if Moreno, Royval, Erceg couldn't knock out Pantoja i don't think the newbie will.

 

I feel like I’m the opposite now. I watch enough mma that I expect the main card to be intriguing enough matchups but I really judge a card by how many people I want to watch on the prelims

Aljo on that spot of the card while Bryce Mitchell’s dumbass gets a PPV match is a bit disrespectful imo.

Yeah, this has always been a talking point that people constantly get wrong. Uriah Faber was one of the first guys to figure out that you get more exposure headlining the prelims vs being first few fights on the main card.

If it was the main prelim, I totally understand. That spot on this card is lame asf.

ESPN’s Nielsen number would be the exact same if the Aljo and Bryce matches were switched. It’s also another lame ploy by UFC trying to show the audience that Bryce Mitchell is a legit contender like Bo Nickal.
