Does Drew Plitt have a realistic shot to make the team? I don’t follow the Bengals that closely, apologies in advance.
Yeas he started practicing last week. They're still easing him in with off days and limiting contact drills. Same things as others guys coming off injuries like Burrow, Higgins, and Wilson.
Zero chance unless there's injuries. Teams only keep 2 qbs on the roster and he won't beat out Allen for the backup spot. Maybe he'll make the practice squad or get picked up by another team if he keeps playing well in preseason.
That's wild. My mom's ruptured back when she was a kid and was in the hospital for months. My 10th grade biology teacher also had his rupture and missed several months as well. He was a dumbass and didn't go to the doctor but the dude was in pure agony
Bengals managed to make a worse draft pick than Drew Sample. Way to go Jackson! Kid has been a lazy slug since he was in high school, so this should surprise no one
So is OJ Howard still going to sign? Or did the Asiati move negate that? Have seen conflicting reports
Looks like it might be a long season, boys. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but Joe looks completely checked out. No swagger. Goes right to the bench after drives. Doesn't talk to anyone. He's playing like shit (can't hold onto the ball for as long as he does), but it's gotta be dejecting to have pressure in your face every time you drop back. Not the way you wanna start what is essentially a contract year, for either party. Hope they get it together
Hopefully the offensive line just needs time to jell or something. Pretty shocking that it essentially looks the same as it did last season.
There was a point in the middle of last season where I thought all was lost. Hopefully we figure it out. We’re only a game out of the division lead
The o line obviously needs to play better but Joe holds onto the ball for too long and our play calling is horrendous. Between Zach and Callahan there is zero creativity in the design of our offense. Teams are playing with two high safeties to prevent the deep throws and we look completely clueless. It really shouldn't be that hard with the skill players on the roster.
I don’t know where else to ask this Staying in Cincy the week of the Chiefs game for work, so I’ll probably go to that. Main question is what part of the city should I stay in for a week? TIA
Honestly, it depends on where you'll be spending your time for work. Downtown is best if considering the game, though.
I forgot about it tbh but thanks for the recommendations Looks like where I’ll be spending the majority of my time will be the north side of the city but I definitely don’t want to stay up there so I’ll check out the area Goose recommended and downtown hotels
Don’t know what your work budget is for a hotel but there’s a Hampton inn on vine street that’s kind of in a sweet spot. It’s on the south end of OTR and an easy hop to downtown Note: as I live in Cincinnati I’m not sure how nice it is
Also there's two hampton's on vine I think. I guess look up the address and make sure it's the one closer to downtown. The other one is near UC's campus..if it's technically even on vine. It's somewhere around there just dont know what the address is and i'm too lazy to google it
fucktx - We typically put people up in the Renaissance or the Lytle Park Hotel when people come in town to visit for work. Both are nice and easy Uber to OTR or the Banks. Renaissance is easily walkable to stadium and the Banks though.
Lytle Park is kind of out of the way for night life though. Probably want to be closer to Fountain Square, or in OTR itself.
Forgot one hotel that's across from the Reds stadium and is actually at The Banks. It's call the AC Hotel, really nice too.
I was going to recommend this, though I've never stayed there or known anybody who has. I've had a number of drinks on the rooftop bar, though, and that's worth more than actual overnight experience.
