Stanton DH in one and Gardner DH the other. Andujar is young, he can play two games especially when we need his bat with Judge and Gary out.
Not saying it doesnt, but when you're already down two everyday guys I don't think it's a good idea to penalize yourself two more after a day off. I think the 23 year old andujar could make it through.

"Toughing out a few games" is just an old school mindset. It's not good for a player long term. That's a fact. I dont care what your high school coach told you in 1972. The odds of us running down Boston with no Judge and Sanchez for a month plus are slim to none. Running our players into the ground to do so would be a terrible move. But I'll take your response as confirmation that you're a batting avg and wins guy.

Oh me too. I think they should just take the top 4 teams like they used to. The Yankees are 10 games up on the Indians but the Indians wont have to worry about a one game playoff bc every other team in the division will finish 10 games under .500.
