I interviewed him for a story at work a few years back. At this point, he sounds exactly like Gerry Faust.

Looking forward to watching this one. Will be hoping for an unclean game and neither fanbase to have fun.
Heading into this one, the OSU passing game and defense are ready. We still have concerns about the ground game, but it’s better than when we closed last season. McCord has had two solid games at QB, with last week as his best. Our TE and three WRs are all within 4 catches of each other, so he’s doing a good job spreading it around. Harrison has been great. We still have not shown we can run effectively. Our run game has been mostly large yardage plays and then two yard gains. The defense played very well this week against a decent passing attack. The interior DL and CBS are very good.
this is worrisome, if nd can’t run it will be terribly hard to win this game. The interior ol is a weakness for nd
Interior DL is our strength and usually where we generate most of our pressure in both the run and pass game. My biggest concern is Corch Grandpa gets antsy in his pantsy and sends zero coverage blitzes that don't get home and Pretty Pam Fartman starts hitting big plays down field.
what are the odds that Chef Goldblum is the guest picker Saturday? He’s already gonna be in South Bend…
yeah, your game plan should be to try to see if you can get pressure without blitzing. That would be a problem
No one has run effectively against Ohio State, but we haven’t faced a real rushing attack yet. Indiana, YSU and WKU don’t tell us a lot about our run defense. WKU is a decent passing team. That’s been our only real test. With that said, this is a very talented defense. We have NFL talent at every position.
I have flashbacks of him sitting in the booth against Michigan, with five empty 16 ounce coffees in front of him caffeinated out of his mind, calling blitzes like he’s on crack as our DBs get burned.
If by some chance this is true, Chef we are gonna need a little code word so you can give us a shout out when you are making your picks. I vote that you call "accidentally" call him Brian Killy.
I’m not sure any game played by either team matters much - lotta bs opponents in those 7 wins combined
Sam? He’s not a runner, but he has good pocket feel and he’s very athletic. So he can scramble fairly well. That said, he had his ankle twisted pretty hard on a hit against CMU and looked a bit gimpy for a couple drives so we hope that doesn’t linger.
