My first game in all heroes I immediately locked Reinhardt, then the rest of the team went Reaper, Soldier, Widowmaker. We didn't even get the payload moving.
still leveling my alt. games seem to be going much better. attacks are more coordinated, less trickling, comps looks better. most i've enjoyed overwatch in a long time.
If the current competitive ranking of the people i'm getting matched with in quick play is any indication i'm somewhere between 2800 and 3200

I do as well, I can just sign in on my main account that owns the game and then sign in on another account and launch the game and play as long as I have my main account signed in.
Games cant be opened by more than one account at a time. If he was receiving the game through sharing he could make unlimited alts but not when he's giving.
Also works on X1 if the person who you share with has the console set as his "home" console + owns the game you are playing. I don't own overwatch, nor do I have xbox live. Smug smurf dgaf
Assuming that's true it's time to start having rankings for each hero imo. If i'm a diamond zen and a silver rein i shouldnt be allowed to pick rein when i queue in diamond.
So today i was playing some on numbani. We hold, they don't capture anything. On attack, we also didn't capture anything. We lost. No clue how that happens. Both teams captured 0.5% but the one that did it first won. Is this new.

hanzo and genji pickers are the worst fucking scum of the earth. im 0-7 this season with either of them on my team.
I think what this game needs most is a change to the hero select screen. Get rid of the attack/defense category, add dps, redistribute. Then maybe, just maybe, we'd stop seeing snipers on defense.
I think I'm going to start front lining as Mei. Her wall blocks damage and she's hard to kill. What could go wrong?
High sustain, multiple cc abilities, peel. She has an off tank ability pool and dps health pool. Her dps is pretty low and her playstyle is focused on peeling and controlling chokes. Dps dont control chokes that way, they do it by spamming damage down it. For all intents and purposes, outside of health pool, mei is an off tank.
I think Mei is somewhat of an off tank for the reasons Odin said. But what do I know, I'm not a doctor.
in essence mei is an off tank who doesn't get play because she gets one shot by hog and widow. i expect to see her health pool go up soon. she was playable while widow wasn't, hog couldn't one shot, and she had her ult every team fight. but as it stands she's got a bunch of tank abilities and not enough health to use them properly. when talking strictly abilities she's far tankier than hog but that health pool is gross. she's in a weird spot. here's my favorite youtuber discussing hero roles. very knowledgeable on overwatch theory. love all of his shit.
Tanks are the front line/engagers. I don't see how Mei fulfills that role at all. She is a niche defensive hero like junkrat/bastion, torb, symm. Good for narrow chokes because you're forced into walking into a setup team. Once that choke/setup is gone, Mei can't really protect her team anymore. Her wall is nuts on first point Hanamura though. Mei, Sym, Torb, Rein, Mercy, S76 is super fucking annoying to break through
well, she is definitely played on the front line so there's that. you can engage with her ult pretty effectively, same with the wall. jump in separate key target from the rest of the group, burn. she can definitely engage better than orisa can. seagull is particularly good using mei like that. plus, shit like this: i will admit her midfight is pretty weak but her wall can still be useful blocking certain ults (pharah, reaper, hog, can be useful vs graviton and earth shatter) and rein charges. i think improved health or something, maybe some armor, would help this a lot. her slow is crazy useful but not so great midfight because she gets burned down fast if cooldown management isn't absolutely perfect. her wall is similar to speed boost and anti heal in that they're all 100% unique and very useful, but the rest of her kit just doesn't compare to what ana and lucio have. i don't think she needs a rework, just more sustain because it's weaker than it ever has been.
Playing competitive matches for the first time now that I am up to level 29. Probably going to have to get a headset. I've never used one since it's usually just 12 year olds talking shit in every other game but it's impossible to get on the same page as your team without one. People keep doing dumb shit and won't use their tanks/supports effectively. I looked at my playtime recently and my most played appear to be Osira, Lucio, Torb and Roadhog. I'm shit with most of the "offense" heroes.
