I’ve never identified with a TV character more than Nick Miller, which says a lot about me unfortunately, and that show is definitely a great binge. Agreed that it’s still a level below that top tier Parks and then the Office occupy

 

Love Nick Miller and also love Schmidt. All of the main characters are funny except for Jess

 

if you’re going to put a show at that level it’s probably Brooklyn 99.

 

Community is as well

The Office was good or better for a lot longer than Community was though

 

New Girl is... Not good.

Has its moments, but it isn't in the same league as Parks or Office.

 

New girl is great outside of Jess. Yes Parks is better.

 

Like i think she was fine early but idk the character started feeling like trying too hard from the writers.

 

There will never be another run like NBCs Thursday night lineup of Parks, The Office, Community, 30 Rock

 

I’m on season 3 of community right now. I wouldn’t put it above parks or the office over all, but it’s got some higher peaks.

 

Her shtick is very tiring by season 3

Why do they have lockers and a communal style shower in their apartment then?

 

They say what the building used to be at some point, but I can’t remember. Pretty sure it’s not a gym, but I could be wrong

Knew it was coming but still sucked to see the Available until October 1st notice that popped up while watching on Netflix today.

I think it's only going to be streaming on Peacock starting in October.

I think it’s like Hulu where there are commercials even if you pay for the exclusive content.

 

I did the trial of peacock premium ad free and you got one ad every few episodes from what I saw.

 

Was it for Peacock stuff like how HBO advertises their stuff or was it regular TV ads?

watching reruns on IFC right now. how has nobody written a sitcom type show for Tatiana Maslany? she’s perfect.

 

I haven't watched Parks and Rec but totally agree on The Office. Seasons 1-3 are amazing. Season 4 has good episodes but gets lame near the end. And then yikes

 

I'd argue the season and a half ish after Ben and Chris show up peaks higher than anything the Office ever did.

 

Season 3 is fucking amazing. Every episode is hysterical, culminating in Lil Sebastians memorial which is 100% unadulterated genius.

 

I hope you brought a change of clothes. Cause your eyes are about to piss tears.
