Loved the scene in Narcos Mexico with it I had to recheck which thread I dove into talking about liquid swords Top 3 all time for me and probably not 3rd
Back to the original discussion, just saw somebody posted a clip where they called out PFF for their grading. So at least they did one thing right.
I think a lot of PFF metrics are bad, especially college positional ratings, because come on how many people are out there who actually know what slot corner at Louisiana Tech is actually supposed to be doing? That said, PFF is now the substitute for "nerds" when NFL meatheads talk. I think some of their stuff is useful, for example turnover worthy plays. To start the year Josh Allen had horrible turnover luck with tunrover worthy plays all being converted to turnovers, literally he was like 15/15 at one point. Then the conversion rate regressed to the mean and the Bills won a bunch of games in a row. Conversely Will Levis was very lucky on turnover worthy plays early on this year, which is why people thought he was amazing. Do I love PFF no? Do I think "football guys" use their numbers to get a chip on their shoulder, yes. Its just a different perspective, use it, or don't...
SAS seems mildly self aware of the schtick and leans into it. Just riding the gravy train and earning generational wealth, I can't blame him. McAfee is absolutely insufferable and I hate him.
I abhor McAfee but who gives a shit about calling someone a MFer on the phone, in a private conversation.
I would love to see them beat the shit out of each other, but my money is on Pat pummeling SAS. I know he was only a punter, but he still was a professional athlete. Tag team with SAS and Shannon Sharpe vs Pat and AJ Hawk.
I hope one day he gets to experience a sandy hook event first hand, so I can call him a crisis actor at his funeral
ESPN paying this oaf a fortune while he makes a concerted effort to devalue women’s basketball (which ESPN just so happens to have the broadcast rights for NCAA women’s bball) is just good business. ESPN might as well give Harrison Butker a time slot that follows McAfee.
