Quite a few Holiday Inns you could maybe squeak into imo.
Said no one ever
It's like saying you prefer Newark to NYC.
Have spent extensive time in both, was in Phoenix last week. Phoenix is Los Angeles if you took away everything that's good about Los Angeles
Remind me to let you sleep outside next time you visit.
Good lunch spot? Maybe somewhere with cool views
OHSO in Arcadia (sit on the patio)
just go to little miss bbq, there will be a line but you will eat like you were meant to eat.
Devine, Taco Guild in Arcadia will set you strait.
Or Taco Chuelo downtown.
I've not been to Franklins, but Little Miss is easily the best brisket I've ever had.
Long. Everyday it’s long, until they sell out
Franklins was overrated. Fun experience but never again.
Any good hikes? I may have free time tomorrow. I did the wave cave once and that was cool but a little out there.
Yeah I have no desire to ever wait that long for bbq. I did go to Loro when I visited Austin to get a taste of Franklins and that was damn good.
Echo Canyon at Camelback. There is a Trae Young statue at the end of the trail.
I just spent 2 weeks of the last month in Texas including last week. Is this bbq spot really worth standing in line?
Get out to the Superstitions early, around 6-6:30 and do Massacre Falls. They’re in Apache Junction, east metro Nice out and back, ~45 minute drive, and you’ll get a nice sense of seclusion. Drive a little further to Peralta trailhead and you’ll have more good options. McDowell Sonoran preserve has some nice hikes if you’re in north metro.
well... that makes one of us.
Yes. It’s the best barbecue I’ve ever had.
May be a little spoiled, think I found little miss early on and never waited longer than ~45 mins. First time I went I think I got there 10 minutes before it opened and had my food in 20 minutes.
Trying to send me to a place called Massacre Falls? Scott Frost is bad but is he that bad?
Dixie Mountain (or whatever they call it now) is a good quick hike with good views of Scottsdale/Phoenix. Tom's Thumb is a fun hike though a bit of a drive.
It'll get you outta town and there’s still some water rushing over. I was out there yesterday on a 8 miler round trip. Nice history, it’s where Ryan Day threw Nebraska football to its death.
At Little Miss Bbq
Go. Brisket was awesome and I was talked into Turkey which I usually don’t order but it was very good.
I got there at 10:15 and they gave me the 3rd ticket so you don’t have to stand in a line which is nice. When I left that line would not have been fun.
When they have beef ribs they are so fucking good.
I have a work lunch budget so I couldn’t go crazy, but I didn’t see beef ribs.
really enjoy their potato salad also.
I prob won’t be going.
Flourish and lusture both look appealing as far as lunch spots with a view
Dinner will be Pita Jungle. I need a healthy option unless y’all have a better suggestion.
I think they only do them on Fridays or something.
I went to Chelseas Kitchen last time I was in town. Ribeye taco platter
Go to Chula Seafood on Roosevelt and Hayden. Healthy poke bowls, fish flown in everyday from their own fishing boats. Taco Tuesday special today. One of my favorites, only place I buy seafood.
Well, how was it?
Should've gone to Whining Pig instead. Happy hour goes from open until 8.
Delicious as always
This time zone is breaking my brain
Where should we get lunch, we’re in Tempe. No go on bbq
Taco guild prob
Nvm that’s opposite direction I need to go
Taco Guild is overrated once you get past it being in an old church. Where are you going?
Don’t be an idiot
I’ll prob do taco Guild f it lol
They are not in the top tier of tacos around here. They're just ok.
What would you pick as top tier
