Porygon is confirmed for this as well. Jigglypuff, Clefairy, Slowpoke, Chansey, Lickitung, Porygon great time to walk my Grimer. it's about 33 miles to get him to Muk, that's pretty doable in a week.
you get half the distance to get a candy. effectively the same thing you'll just see it differently. event's been going on for a few hours now. my house literally has 8 Clefairy and a Clefable around it atm.

going to use this for Fairy gold medal and stockpiling Exeggutor candy. not going to bother with Clefairy or Licktung virtually at all. Jiggly, Exeggcute, and hopefully Chansey and Porygon. oh and catch all the Caterpie, Weedle, and Pidgey you can bc double candy.
Since I'm constantly on the move I just keep it all and batch it out at home after I run them through CalcyIV. Transferred 23 of 25 I got in the hour I went out. kept a good Slowpoke and a Jigglypuff. I trash on the go if it's anything under a set CP amount because even if it's perfect the stardust cost is far too high to bring something up from like 5 to 27.
just drove around for an hour to get food and coffee... and hunt some of those hard to get ones. ended up hatching a venonat and pinsir (from a 10k), and only saw jigglypuffs, exeggcutes and lickitungs, all of which i have a boatload of already. need that porygon and chansey :(
if they're ultra rare for you like they are for most it'll just mean you'll probably see a few during the event, not 10 a day. whole week to go, plenty of time to fill that dex spot.
well the bad news I'm reading right now is that unlike Halloween this event seems to just exaggerate biome spawns not replace them. meaning if you didn't see Chansey or Porygon before you probably won't see them now. the places you read about with crazy spawns of those right now (Vegas is literally covered in Porygon) have always been biomes for them. kinda anticipating not getting either this week if that proves to be the base. for me, I live in a Clefable biome and grass biome so I see Eggs and Clefable constantly and Jiggly and Slowpoke a little less often. seen Lickitung twice ever so it's a possibility (and I've seen like 10 tonight) for where I live but never seen Chansey or Porygon so they will likely stay unseen I'm guessing. bummer news. not saying it's impossible to see them but I'd lower those expectations hard. at this point I just want to fill my dex, I'll wait for more walking events to worry about gen 2 candy.
pretty lame if that's the case. they really should randomize eggs instead of basing it off pokestop location's pokemon biome and same with event pokemon.
saw and caught my first Porygon tonight, also saw/caught my first 3 Lickitungs no joke though, I probably saw 30-40 Exeggute's on the way home..also a good number of Slowpokes
Took a side road home I never do yesterday and there was a stop. I pull up and 4 slowpokes, 2 exeggutes a 640 evee and a Dragonaire pop up. Saw tons of Eggs and pokes the rest of the day. Even had 2 licks in my neighborhood.
I've long passed 125 Dratini candy. Need one worth evolving, though. Closest I've come is an 82 Dragonair but it was like level 11 and would cost another 80 candy to get it to my level so no thanks.
Joys of Orlando: finally see a Chansey on my nearby and discover it is in the middle of a theme park. Not paying $80 for that thing.
yea, I'm not going to see Chansey or Porygon in my city this week. going to make a trip this weekend or Monday to a nearby city and see if that changes my luck.
I dunno, I'd never even seen a silhouette of a Porygon or Lickitung in 6 months of playing but have now caught 1 Porygon and 4 Lickitungs in 12 hours
yea but that very likely means they were always there and you never saw them. I saw Lickitung once a few weeks ago and before that maybe 4-5 months ago so I saw like 10 yesterday in little time and see plenty more on the tracker. I've never seen or even heard of Porygon or Chansey in my city and I can't seem to even find them on trackers right now which leads credence, I think, to the theory I posted where they're just more of them not brand new spawns. Like how 34 never sees Eggs and still hasn't so far whereas I had 5 Exeggcutes before the event and I see Eggs everywhere now.
The amount of Exeggcutes I see now is obscene, Ive caught like 15-20 today and didnt bother on at least 20 others. Always multiple on the nearby too.
I just realized I've never gotten an Eggs or Eevee from an egg. I live in Eggs and Eevee central, too.
I got a 14 CP Eevee out of my very 1st 10k egg, after I raged over that I havent gotten either either, but would be pissed if I did because I don't need them at all.
