talk to me like i'm 5.. but if i already do have a wireless router besides the one they provided me (all-in-one), can i turn the router part off of the modem and use my own router for wireless?
Yeah you should be able to. It really depends on your setup but here's a link that might help. You could also try googling your specific modem/router model number and seeing if there's a manual somewhere online. https://kb.netgear.com/26747/How-to...rse-gateway-and-set-NETGEAR-router-in-AP-mode
Was about to ask the same question. I keep my beard like 1/4 to half an inch. My regular clipper is useful but a little unwieldy. I'd love if something could do it all.
So I've been wanting a pair of Bean boots for awhile now. Since they're having a site wide 20% off sale, might be a good time to go ahead and pull the trigger. Any recommendations on 6/8/10 inch boots? Insulated vs non-insulated? "Maine hunting boot"? Edit: Apparently their boots are excluded from this sale. Whatever. I want some anyway.
From Georgia I got non insulated and i'm thankful because they can still get pretty hot. They've never seen snow but I use them for any rainy day.
6" uninsulated. Brown on brown master race. Edit: WTF are these ones with the orange bottoms on their site?
it's great for those of us who (have to) shave our heads. Relatively quick and easy with no nicks and I haven't gotten any irritation from it yet. Relatively close shave. I've tried it for my face and just don't feel it's close enough there, but it's passable. No idea about beards.
Yes, you can use the wireless on the new router. The two routers should be able to figure out the proper way to handle everything. Worst case scenario the ISP's router just broadcasts a wifi that no one connects to
I personally think it will work for beards and to trim beards. I cannot straight shave because I end up with razor bumps no matter what I do. I've found this is the closest I can get to my skin without putting a razor blade on it but I have also used it to trim my beard. Finally I've already replaced the blades on mine a few times. It's easy and makes it twice as efficient when the blades dull.
Yes, it makes a great beard trimmer. It comes with 3 different guards. I had a beard up until last week and was using the 1 guard to keep it short. Then I used it without a guard to shave it clean and it works wonders. No pulling on the hair at all no matter the length.

Picked up a 2012 Dodge Charger for my oldest boys first car. Pics are prob a little grainy since I had to edit my families faces out.
Life's good as a spawn of bertwing. What's the insurance going to run you for a 17yr old menace to society?
A fucking lot And he's only 14, almost 15 Got the car for him because he can get his hardship and drive to and from football practices this summer so I don't have to leave work and take him and pick him up.
Back to the flip flops discussion, did we ever come to a consensus for the best options out there? I'm looking to spend under $100 if possible.
its like $300 a month for car insurance for a 16 year old kid. Thats a lot compared to mine which is like $30 a month
I could just keep the car is under my name/insurance and he can be an additional insured or something too. Want to try and start his credit though
I pay around $100 a month for his liability and comprehensive, that same coverage with my insurance would have been more than 3x that, even as an incidental driver, made it a no-brainer. Going to quote the rest of our vehicles with them as well. Car is in my name though, he'll have plenty of opportunity to work on his credit later... I just don't recall that being an issue for anyone I know
He rear-ended somebody at a red light soon afterward , essentially there was no damage to his vehicle but the car he hit was all kinds of messed up. The driver of the car didn't have insurance, registration, driver's license and claimed the car wasn't his (if I had to guess he was an illegal immigrant.). It was 100% my sons fault, however, since there was no damage to his own vehicle and the other driver didn't (couldn't?) pursue damages our insurance didn't go up... I still don't understand why not, but I'm not asking too many questions either...
I keep wanting to see some shorts in this thread that I want to buy, but alas it hasn't happened yet. Is it a requirement for men's shorts to not go to the knee now? Give me some shorts that go to the knee, or (gasp) beyond that are not cargo shorts. Go.
I looked at Cole Haans, but they had a little more of the Nike-esque soles. These were a little more subtle.
a handful of pages back i talked about getting shorts from american eagle (not a fan of their stuff, but shorts seemed fine). i honestly couldn't be happier, very soft, stretch material -- pretty cheap too. they also do have a long length if that's your thing.
