you really are a laughable chode. Dream Christmas? That's a stretch. Clearly you don't have kids. Mine wanted me to play games with them so much, that a 16 18 and 20 year old kids dropped close to a grand of their own earned money, to buy their dad a game system and we've spent the last two days playing PUBG together and it has been fun. With my kids. Are you really that big of a douche IRL that you can't understand your kids getting you something because they enjoy doing that something with you? You're not right? I mean, this is just you filling in your persona right? I can only hope.
What you don't understand is Kirby is the most elite xbox games roster manager in the nation. You would shake with fear if you saw the stables he's putting together for xmas 2019 and 20
Imagine how boring a person has to be to criticize someone receiving a video game system for Christmas
Hey man, whatever you say. I'm trying to envision being 44 years old and allowing your kids to spend that much on you for Christmas...much less to spend it all on Xbox shit. If they like games that much shouldn't you be buying them the Xbox, games, headphones, Xbox Live, etc? After all, you're the fucking grown-up in this scenario...ostensibly.
What part of play with them don't you get dumbass? They all got Lenova Yoga's to fill needs. They have already had the systems. Holy shit you really are a sad individual to put so much thought, yet not be able to think through common sense aspects, of my christmas. Hope you are using green theme on your TMB cause your envy is really starting to show. You really should take the L and realize you were barking up the wrong tree on this one. What a chode.
That's a really weird take. My dad is approaching 70 and I spend close to as much as an Xbox costs on him for Christmas. My siblings and I combined definitely exceed it.
My Dad moved into a new neighborhood this year, golf community, so we went in to buy him a Personalized Golf Cart. 3800, but among 3 of us. Everything about his take seems weird to me.
That's an objectively better looking vehicle than any of the others you mentioned. It's a Land Cruiser. Arguably the GOAT.
You're not aged 16--20, right? I think most normal people would be mortified if their teenage children spent that much money on them. Doesn't seem like a weird take to me - seems like a normal take. Strange life lesson to be teaching your kids but hey, whatever works.
First of all, quit using the word "chode". That says more about you than anything I can. Secondly, you're so right - I'm super jealous of the Xbox shit your kids spent their life savings on. LOL.
I don't play video games and get the shock at him getting an xbox for Christmas at 44 (and also get it being a good gift for him since he does play them), but I'm still confused as to why the kids' expenditure is an issue. The amount spent on gifts varies tremendously from family to family. Maybe his family gives big gifts, and the kids saved up a long time to get it for him. That's not really worthy of being "mortified," and instead would show a lot of maturity on their part.
$300 for someone with a job makes up their life savings? Does Fafa fofo live in one of those Nigerian huts that Trump spoke about?
I just spent roughly 5k on my parents My parents have given more to me than I could ever repay so I always do what I can at Christmas to “repay” them. Don’t see the hate on that.
I didn't see where the Range Rover was mentioned, so I'll concede that. I don't really love the 2018 changes, though. I'd rather have a Land Cruiser, either way.
Btw ive decided to wait for the new 19 GLE anyways https://www.caranddriver.com/news/2019-mercedes-benz-gle-class-spy-photos-news
I am absolutely in love with my Tacoma. So I could probably get behind spending that much on a Land Cruiser if I made more money and were living in an area where such a vehicle was a necessity. Those things are soooo sweet
I want an Xbox or PlayStation because all my nephews play me, and beat me, when i come home to visit. I gotta get good again so when they’re old enough to play online I can beat them. Other than the occasional roast-worthy “please advise” post I hate how some people in this thread feel it’s their duty to police how people spend their discretionary funds and time or what goofy stuff they like to wear. I can’t imaging anything creepier than worrying about how another grown man spends his money or bonds with his kids.
If my Tacoma had leather that’s the only improvement I could hope to make. Does everything I need it to and it’s simple to park. I do like the look of tundras and bigger vehicles but I only drive about 8k miles per year so I don’t need a luxury sedan or lots of amenities.
Leather would be really nice especially when my dog is a passenger. I miss the older Tundras. I am 5'10 145 and couldn't handle a new Tundra if my life depended on it
They should put the money in their college fund...of course that assumes they have or need one of those.
It also assumes they don't put everything else into it? Or that they don't have some other means for paying for it? There are infinite variables that affect the reasonableness of the expenditure. It's weird to form such a rigid opinion on it without knowing any of them.
The depreciation and maintence costs on a Range Rover makes it not debatable either. No beating the dependability of a Toyota. I’d only keep a Range Rover as long as I had the warranty.
Your HOA prevents you from owning a pickup truck? That's a new one. Is that legally-enforceable? I doubt it.
Probably true. With that said, I think if I was in my mid-40's and my amazing Christmas consisted of all Xbox-shit I would probably keep it to myself. But that's just me.
My dad is 72 and bitches about NCAA Football no longer being made at least once a day. He has a next gen console (Xbox One) but I don't. I need to get one
I bet it's that he can't park it in the driveway or on the street (which is more common than you'd think). There's no way they can tell him he can't own one.
