The LG WM3500CW and LG DLEX7600WE got consumer reports best buys
Worked the call center at Whirlpool for a summer. Frontloaders are trash. Whirlpool Cabrio series is the best going.
Just make sure you washed/dryer is IoT enabled because that’s necessary.
Any suggestion for a non leather office chair
Worth every penny
What's the handcrafted leather company that makes wallets? I have a money clip/front pocket wallet from them that's pretty much dead, pockets are too loose and cards are falling out. TYdeFan05
Saddleback? Makr? You don’t know who made your wallet?
I think they got on the official tmb naughty list a while back, but I've had a saddleback for 5-6 years and it looks brand new
It's not saddleback, and if someone posts the name I'll immediately recognize it. The wallet has no branding on it.
Not Mitchell or Makr.
Be a lot cooler if it was
Wait yes it is Mitchell. The Mitchell money clip wallet.
Mitchell you rubes. But honestly there’s tons on guys making good stuff. It’s like craft beer or anything else...where there was once a few there’s a thousand now.
Why (and when) would Saddleback have flipped to the naughty list?
I believe they changed the sourcing on their leathers which would include defects (brand marks, barb wire punctures/marks, etc) and spun it as it having more character.
Whats TMB recommendation on where to get a couple suits and not break the bank?
what price range are you looking at? Breaking the bank for suits means different things.
Suit supply has been good for me
If you’re trying to go less than $500, head to men’s warehouse or store like that and pray for the best. In the ~$500 range, I have one from suit supply suit I like. I have one brooks brothers suit I love, but I think it ran closer to $1000.
Sourcing it from cheap producers if they are still using barbed wire in 2020
Does this suit supply run specials or sales or should I just order whenever. Also thoughts on Jos. A. Banks?
Been a while for me, so I don't know about the sales. I went to a brick and mortar store and had one made... I felt more comfortable with that as opposed to buying online. I have also had jos a bank suits, and the SS quality is significantly better to me.
I go to Rothmans on Park Avenue.
You can get a Corneliani suit during their sales for under $1,500 tailored.
Looking to pay less than $500/suit for sure. It’s not for work. Mainly for weddings and events. Just need a few solid go to suits to replace my current ones that I bought 10years ago now
just got an indochino suit and I like how it came out. Can’t speak to how it will hold up, but pleased so far.
I've got two from there and they are great. Had them over a year and all good. Both under $500. They have good sales throughout the year.
+1 for Indochino, especially if you live near a showroom and can see the fabrics firsthand and have them do your measurements for you. It sounds corny to say, but the suite fits so damned perfectly because it was made specifically for me. The most important aspect of the suit is how it fits you.
I also like the Men’s Wearhouse suggestion provided they’re tailoring it for you or you’re taking it to a local tailor to have it altered specifically for you. Your $500 isn’t going to go far at Macys.
Men’s Warehouse and Jos a Bank are the same thing these days.
yep, both shitty
Indochino if you live near a showroom.
Where do people shop nowadays? I hit up Macy’s etc. today just looking hot spring stuff and struck out.
Just signed up for stitch fix to try that.
Nordstrom’s is great imo
Unfortunately the nearest is in Chicagoland like 2 hours away.
Belk or go to the outlet mall which has everything.
That stinks. There men’s section is great.
Charles trywitt (sp) for business casual and tshirts/hoodies everywhere else
I buy my clothing from Costco like a goddamn American.
If you ran those Haggar pants with the Superflex or InMotion waistband they always seem to have there for <$20 up a flagpole I'd salute them.
Really can't remember the last time I bought clothes from a regular department store. I know my fit in the few brands that I purchase from and just order everything online.
Went in the store for Indochino, but now that my sizing is all uploaded to their system, I'll probably never go back again.
You’ll have to go back after the next bulking season you fucking liar.
Big fan of haggar.
I ordered the Amazon basics golf pants the other day... They are fine.
Go to your local men's shop.
I buy suits and sport coats twice a year at their annual sales.
Or buy great suits off ebay and get them tailored.
the haters will be furious
