What's a good pillow these days?
I got in on the Pillow Cube Pro right away for their initial Kickstarter and love it. It’s perfect for my beds at my full time and part time spots because the mattresses are super firm with no extra top. However, it doesn’t work for me at home because I sink into our foam mattress topper and it was too thick, bending my neck quite a bit. They’re quite expensive now and if you just measure with all things considered on your bed, it could work.
Also heard a lot of great things about the Purple Pillow, which is expensive, too.
Coop home goods is the best pillow in maybe the world
Speaking of pillows, i’m spending an absurd amount of time on my couch because of covid. Anyway to save my back?
Bear Pillow. It's like $100 though :/
ordered a S21 Ultra
how the fuck am I supposed to spend $200 on accessories with the credit that comes with it, i get it if I needed head phones or something but ???
for extra chargers/cables or even random stuff like cases or the tile/tracker things?
Stylus, battery bank, screen protector? should be plenty of things to chose from.
Wifi at my house sucks. I pay for aft fiber with 1000mbs but I know I'm not getting anything near that with the stock router.
What's the move with routers now? Mesh system? I see nest wifi is super highly reviewed, anyone have it?
Is there a thread for this kind of thing? Any recommendations is appreciated.
Which one do you have? I see one that's line 600 bucks.
I have the rbk50, but I know they have newer models now
I have a nest mesh system and am very happy with it.
How big is your house?
I have the nest WiFi mesh setup with one ad on point. Very happy with it. Also went straight to the noc and got to send frontier back my fios box ($10 per month saving).
This system was on sale for $199 last summer and jumped on it. Been extremely happy with it since:
I have the Nest mesh system, and it works perfectly. Haven't had a single issue. Super easy setup with their app too.
Edit: I just have the router and one point covering 2300 sqft on one floor.
I have the eero 6 Pro. The set comes with three units (a base station and two satellites). Handles my 2 story, 4,300 sq. ft. house just fine, including coverage in the garage and backyard. It’s very user friendly, if you just want an app interface that works and is easy to use. Reviews online suggest people with more networking knowledge may one something with more ability to tweak or whatever.
I have Nest. Highly recommend. I was paying for 150mbps internet and it sucked ass. Had a DL speed of 10mbps when i ran an internet test
Now with the Nest I’m running at about 160mbps/DL when I run a speed test and have not had one issue in 6 months
+1 for Nest mesh
I have one extra nest WiFi router (snow) if anyone is interested in buying one. I Bought a single refurb unit from target then decided we wanted the two pack with add on point. when I went to return the refurb they told me to just keep it (and refunded me #lifehack).
Perfectly good unit that’s going to hit fb marketplace/eBay unless someone here is interested. $85+shipping label.
Eero here with 3 total stations
Just got it a month or 2 ago and it's been great and was super easy to set up
Anyone have a recommendation for a jogger for 5 10 guy. Everything Ive gotten is so long on me. I wear a medium but looking for a jogger that are a little more form fitting over baggy
At your size, have you considered checking the women’s section heyyyyoooo
they’re expensive, but Lululemon in small if you usually wear mediums.
I also have these and really like them (I’m a similar height and they’re not baggy). Order in medium:
I have Eero but curious about the Nest system. Can each access point / hub whatever they’re called but hard wired into Ethernet as well?
Anybody have one of the newest chromecast dongles?dangles?
Wondering how they are compared to a roku
Thinking about grabbing one for HBO max on my lg TV so I don't keep moving the roku from the bedroom to the living room
I'd just get another Roku, imo they still have the best interface.
Virus joggers >>
Got one for the bedroom bc the wife was tired of using her phone. I like the interface but the Android TV Interface on my Nvidia Shield is cleaner. The Chromecast suggests lots of things to watch.
Looking for a nice bar cart. Any recs?
Any good ice coffee makers?
What are you looking for?
A neighbor friend has one from these folks and it's badass
His is custom built, they can/will build you anything exactly how you want it
If you're talking cold brew, I prefer toddy for big batches and a mason jar and a disposable coffee sack for less than 750 ml or so
I bought this 6 years ago. No assembly required and it’s still in perfect condition.
I’ll check it out. Thanks a lot.
hbo max has a roku app now
Have a really good friend that picked up a used airline bar cart from eBay. It’s a really sweet setup once he made some custom inserts for it.
Pinterest/google images is your friend, its really a matter of how creative you want to get.
That's why I am asking
Googled this, and well, I'm still confused.
Google isn't returning this yet?
just bought a Brother MFC-J895DW off Amazon for about $130 and I love it. They’re hard to find now around that price though. Print quality is solid and the scanning is great. Also has a Document feeder which is a bit harder to find at that price point but makes scanning very easy
Google sent me a free one as a YouTubetv early adopter. IMO it’s way better than roku. But I admit I’ve always hated the roku interface
If you want avoid being excluded from certain content these days, you cannot have just one TV smart box, you need at least 2 from this list:
FireTV, Roku and Chromecast.
and that doesn't even include the 2 best overall devices, Apple TV 4K and nVidia Shield.
My wife bought this just the other day. Pretty happy with it so far.
I don't know if toilets have ever been discussed in here but getting an elongated toilet for your big ass is definitely the way to go. One of my toilets broke and I bought a elongated replacement and it's awesome. I'm posting from my other small toilet and I feel like I'm slumming it.
Elongated is 100% the way to go. One of the first things I’m gonna install when I own a home
Elongated ADA (chair) height. I even put one in my apartment years ago.
How people live with short round stools I will never figure out.
