I tried some Chacos and I really liked them in the store, but after a weekend of use they weren’t quite wide enough. Ended up with some Keens and walking around in a few creeks with them the other weekend was amazing.
I think it will, especially considering I currently have the bike leaning against dining room table. Honestly, I don't have a ton of space but I think this would work pretty well in my laundry area. Also, I am not exactly handy so would rather not attempt to drill into the wall, though if that is the best option then I'll figure it out.
I bought a pair of keens last month for hiking and rafting while on vacation and absolutely love them.
I bought a pair of crocs to slide on while tending to the garden and picking up dog shit. They are absurdly dumb shoes and I love them.
I hear ya. Also they seem to keeps rocks and stuff out of the shoe much better than any crocks I’ve had.
No pics, but this last week has hit hard. $950 for an eye exam and two pairs of glasses. I’m 46 and my near sight is terrible. I was on vacation a couple weeks ago and struggled to read a book. I knew it was time after that. $2000 for a 65” LG C4 and mount. My 10 year old Samsung blew up and that was our only tv. New one looks good and fits perfectly. $450 for a 20 yard dumpster rental. With two young kids, our consumption/waste is embarrassing (despite my best efforts). Gonna fill an enormous trash can with an absurd amount of trash. $500 for a necklace for my wife’s birthday. It’s a white gold chain with our four birthstones on a pendant. She will love it. $600 for back to school shoes, clothes, supplies, etc. Luckily our public school has ‘uniforms’ that are super cheap at Costco. $475 for fall baseball dues…and more is coming for tournaments. Gonna take a few pay periods to catch up from a cash flow perspective.
Need a new keyboard and was wondering if a mechanical would be more digitally pleasing. Just do some normal typing alone at home. Would like full size with a number pad and it can be wired. My research has led me to the Logitech k845 with brown switches in the under $75 category. Anyone recommend something else in that space?
I've had a Ninja for like 10 years, it's been great. I think they're pretty reliable? https://www.amazon.com/s?k=ninja+bl...39&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_35pwr41i8v_e_p67
We have a BlendTec Classic with the Wildside Jar. Added two GO Jars for the wife and I. It’s not inexpensive, but ours came with like an 8 year warranty and is an absolute beast.
How do you like it? I've had a couple uber rides in those, the back seats at least were very very comfortable.
Just bought it today and love it so far. The avocado green caught my eye quickly and I hope I don’t get tired of an off color.
Does anyone have a decent monitor mount/arm that's not like $600. The ones from the office furniture stores around me seem too pricey and the Amazon ones kinda seem like shit.
Ditto. I've had great luck with their arms, tv mounts, and stands. Similar luck with Huanuo monitor arms and other items (stands/vesa plates) from Vivo. Both of those are Amazon brands with great ratings.
i don’t know about that specific switch type but they can be annoyingly loud and clacky, there are supposed to be quieter versions if that is a concern
Went with the brown Logitech. Looks and feels good, but probably too loud if I was in a room with other people
One of the most annoying coworkers I ever had had the loudest clicking keyboard and he would pound the shit out of that thing I immediately judge anyone who has a loud click keyboard now So glad I got that guy fired
I want nothing more than to be in the cube next to big red, pound out some work, and then dial his extension and whisper
Any specific place I should be looking at when buying a tuxedo? Have a few events this year so feel like it’s time to finally bite the bullet and not rent again.
Indochino is where I got mine, but that was a long time ago at this point. Process was great though, but not sure where they are with quality and the process. Also weird side note, used to go to 4-6 events a year that required it. I don’t think I’ve worn it once since Covid. So if anything good came out of Covid, that’s one for me.
4-6 per year is wild to me. I haven’t worn a tux six times in my life. Had to rent one for a wedding six months ago and I think it was around $250. If I wear the thing three times it’ll be worth it. I’ll stop by the indochino here. I got a suit from them a while ago and it’s held up well.
I also went through the indochino process a few years ago and have nothing but good things to say and like the tux. I wear a tux a few times a year for mardi gras balls then the occasional wedding. Two rentals costs about the same to buy one from Indochino so no brainer.
Grabbed this butter crock a few weeks back & only sharing, as I now wonder how I've gone through life without one... Wife teased me upon purchase, but has since come to a similar conclusion.
