Meeeeeeee. Thursday night I slept only 1.5 hours, and I knew I had to wake up early today. But I played anyway! I was falling asleep before we even started the raid.
So, the Nightfall isn't that hard when running it with characters that are 20+ LL higher than they were 4 days ago.
Did y'all get past the siege engine? Saw a couple strats we might try. They had two guys, one run ahead and trigger all the mines and someone behind them taking them out while the first guys carry the parts. There definitely is a timer, so it sure how they two manned it.

Teams on last boss. Haven't really gave it a real try, we've just got past the first form and started fresh raids to get back. His first form is insanely simple with a solid strategy
We haven't actually tried the siege engine with a full fireteam yet. I don't think we'll have much of a problem if we have 6 that are in until we get it done.
To me it's the shittiest part of the raid. The rest of the raid seems to hardly have a light check but them skiffs and captains are cock eaters. 3 raids and always the biggest hang up

So I thought LL was capped at 385 until the HM raid, but I just got a 387 Machine Gun and 386 Warlock Bond by using a skeleton key at the end of the Nightfall. I'm wondering if they screwed something up by switching Nightfalls earlier today. Or did they not actually cap LL at 385?
People were getting 386+ gear the day the expansion dropped so it doesn't really seem like there's any cap
Its some incredibly confusing stuff. Good on Bungie for throwing content like this in the game. Cool to know there's actually puzzles to be solved and not just time gated quests masked as some sort of mystery. Now if we could only get 6 people of decent light level together.
360 now so i feel like i can hold my own a bit better. this is bizarre to watch, i have no idea how they figured out that stuff.
i blame ogre, obviously but i think we're leveled enough to get it done now. if not we definitely will be by the end of the week.
Also, I enjoy that the "Math Class" is the group doing all these calculations. It's riveting live entertainment.
i was all about this when they finished the raid thinking it was over and then they open the thing up and have over 600 combos of posibilities and look stumped...this is gonna be a while.
what has happened since they reached the siva engine (charged) step? still trying to figure out why my phone isn't charging.
have you tried equalizing the matrices in your phone and stabilizing it to make it a siva phone (charged)?
i was thinking about that while they were still working on figuring out the monitors/canisters bit, hadn't even considered the rest of it.
i came in halfway through the puzzle and i have no idea what they're trying to figure out with these engines. i need to get hands on to figure out what they're talking about.
