One of the stats that gets talked about a lot but still boggles my mind every time I hear it - There are more tigers in captivity in the state of Texas than in all of the wild in the world.
I'm sure there's no way to accurately determine this with any level of certainty but I would bet that this stat is similar for lions in Saudi.
There are are ~10x the number of wild lions to tigers, but nothing would surprise me about the private collections with the wealth in that part of the world.
