To all those who back in to parking spots regularly, you have my respect. It's not something everyone can do. That being said... if you have to pull forward after the back in to attempt to center your car better while simultaneously blocking traffic going both ways, YOU ARE DEAD TO ME. I don't have to use a 5-point turn to back out of a parking spot. You're not saving time when you leave, you're wasting yours and mine RIGHT FUCKING NOW. /rant
The lazy fucks that will take their dish to the kitchen, and leave it in the sink, instead of rages the 5 seconds it takes to wash it off and put it in the dishwasher.
98% of people riding bikes in portland are fine. sharing the tiny roads with them sucks, but it's workable but every once in awhile there is a dude who rides like he's going to win the tour de france or whatever. red lights, stop signs, tight urban corners, one way streets... lol these rules are for the common folk, not for that guy
I agree that if you can't back a vehicle, you shouldn't be holding up traffic backing into a spot. My argument is that setting yourself up to pull out instead of backing out is safer and doesn't block traffic if you're a good driver that can back into a spot quickly.
Also, I'll always have a CDL driver mentality of "back in, not out" when in even somewhat tight quarters.
The people that back their vehicles in around my apartment complex don’t go to the curb so there are front ends jutting out into the traffic lane all over.
I’ll take this over them backing in so far that their hitch is over the sidewalk and just waiting to annihilate an unsuspecting shin bone
People who leave their stuff on gym equipment while they cycle through several stations/machines. This isn't a goddamn library where you can reserve stuff.
Stand outside my office door staring at me when they want to talk/ask me something. Someone that says, "Can I ask you a question?"
