Heavy metal shed lock lock has been fabricated and installed. Metal backed on inside wall with no exterior access to bolts or to the lock, except the combo area. I have done what I can do.
The lock on the handle. Camera on back patio but it is too far to trigger the alert sensor but will still record the goings on. All gates have a padlock but 1. And that 1 gate is the problem. It is to my back driveway, and my van is usually parked on the other side of it. Like so close to the gate that you can only squeeze through when opening it when the van is parked there. So 2 things lead to this. First, my work van had been in the shop since Friday night. It not being there allowed easy access into my yard. And secondly, I had forgotten to lock the shed on Sunday when I took my generator out to set it up for if it was needed during this ice storm. So yeah, partially my fault. The same as a sober driver would be faulted for being hit by a drunk driver. Because everyone knows there are drunk drivers so you should probably just stay of the road. I bought a lock for that gate and will use it now, even though it sucks because I will beed to unlock it multiple times a day. I felt the need to reinforce the shed due to the guy coming 2 nights in a row. Even after he saw the shed was locked the 2nd night, he still attempted to get in the shed for about 5 minutes. I am also getting an additional camera mounted in the alley and either on my shed or on my house directly across from the shed. I will also be getting a motion sensing floodlight for my back driveway.
A next level gag would be one of our Texas posters going to tramps maison in the middle of the night and stealing his Relax stencil and patio cushions.
