Rate my Fantasy Football team

Manning's a big question mark right now.

Two solid running backs, horrible depth with only one backup RB on your roster.

No top-tier receivers and there's a huge drop off after your starters.

Honestly I usually don't ever mess with backup TE's or defenses, so I would probably look at dropping your backups there and add to your depth at RB and WR.

 

I'm assuming you went MJD then Mendenhall, correct?

You don't have a bad team but I definitely agree with jay that you need to add RB depth. I wouldn't worry about your WRs, because there will always be a few that come out of nowhere and you can grab off the waiver wire.

Flacco is a solid backup if Peyton doesn't play, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Seems like I took Stafford high, but for whatever reason, two years in a row QBs have flown off the board early (I think five in the first round this year). I was left with Stafford, Freeman, Eli, Flacco, Bradford and I like Stafford's upside the most if he stays healthy. I am an Eagles fan so I cannot stand Eli

Injury worries with Maclin, Grant and Gore. QB issues with Smith, Marshall and Crabtree. Obviously Johnson's holdout is something to keep an eye on as well. If those things go well, I think you got a lot of value. Just a lot of ifs with not enough sure things to balance them.

 

In a 10-team league I really do not think you should be taking Ridley, Cobb, or Dion Lewis. Lewis or Cobb didn't even go in my draft with 16 teams. I like Cobb's upside in real life, but he is going to start off as the sixth passing option (at best) to open the season behind Jennings, Finley, Driver, Jones, Nelson.

 

would try to trade Gronkowski for another RB. I never really fuck with a backup TE and IMO you can never have enough backs. Or maybe try to strengthen your bench receivers. Very solid group of backs though just would consider throwing one more in there

Overall pretty happy with it. I was hoping Felix was going to fall to me in the fourth, but he went a few picks ahead and I had to settle with Greene. I believe he will be much improved this year, but I am high on Felix. Still a little surprised Foster dropped down to five.

 

I'd definitely go after another RB to hedge against Matthews. I just think him and Tolbert are going to be a committee, with Tolbert taking some goaline looks. Maybe Freeman + Stewart (not a fan) for somebody. Beanie is going to have all the chance to be the man, but he still scares me

Need thoughts on this. I am in a 16-team PPR league and I have gone back and forth with a friend on trade offers because I have Matt Stafford and want Calvin Johnson. I have Julio Jones and he is a huge Falcons fan. Talks have sort of died down but I am thinking of offering this and I am unsure if I am coming out on top:

rationales: They paid williams the big bucks so they must plan on using him fully again, both him and McCoy get a ton of catches, which works for fine in a PPR league, same for Bush, Thomas(who will be the saints starter) and LT. Rice is a bit of a gamble but could be a steal, Garcon and Wayne were compromised but fell, Saints and Texans cuz they have a pretty sweet alternating schedule in matchups and I like the Texans D more than most​
