read the whole thing just so that i could say as an informed reader that it was a terrible review. just tell me about the game, and i can read your long articles about work hours another time. after reading that review i honestly have no idea what to expect from the game -- will it be amazing or is it too overdone and not fun. guy says basically everything in that review to where you can't draw conclusions on if he actually enjoyed it or not.
I scrolled through it and after I had to scroll like 9 times I knew I would not read it. No video game needs that much copy for a review.
I can’t wait to just admire the tiny details Rockstar thought to include for realism. There are going to be so many “holy shit” moments as I realize an animation or NPC reaction exists.
the one gif on the kotaku review of some dude just walking by and picking his nose then eating it... magnificent. i remember people on TMB marveling last game about some drunk leaving the saloon and going out back to pee in an outhouse. gonna be so many of those moments.

I’m just hoping to play some tonight. This is a MASSIVE AAA title being released with millions of people trying to get on and dl whatever there is left to dl all at the same time. I expect there will be some issues for a lot of people.

This shit is amazing. Little things like when you’re riding on the side of a cliff your character looks over the side. Have only played for 90 minutes or so, but everything about this game is so authentic. I’m like, “yeah, this is probably what it was really like.”
I fell asleep in my kid’s bed at 9pm. I would have definitely stayed up and played until like 3am and hated myself. Will be doing very little “working” from home today though.
Have kids so I am up early every day so staying up until midnight was not an option. So I set my alarm for 4 am this morning...work up from excitement at 3:30 and got a few hours in. Can't wait to play tonight.
