So I think I kind of flew there this whole saga and never really bothered to go back and get clarification since so much was going down around Winterfell. Who is Reek exactly? And why was the Northmen's reconquest of WF sabotaged by him/Bolton bastard (if they're the same guy?). And did all of the Ironmen die in that fight? Was is Reek who burnt down WF or Theon? I'd go check but I'm afraid I'd be reading forever trying to find the part. Many thanks if anyone can give me some clarification. *edit* Colonel Forbin helped me out some, so let me know if this is right. Ramsey posed as Reek in Theon's forces and said he could go get help to defend WF. Ramsey returns with a lot of Bolton men, betrays the other Northmen trying to re-siege WF and then burns WF, killing all the iron men? How did Reek get in with Theon in the first place again?
He was already there in WF I think when Theon captured it, then got on theon's good side by pretty much doing whatever he said while he was trying to keep wf under his control.
Ramsey Snow is Roose Bolton's Bastard. He wanted to marry lady so and so to gain her lands and Rodrik Cassell went off to battle him so he wouldn't be able to and Rodrik thought he killed him and took his best friend and right hand man Reek captive back to Winterfell. It wasn't actually Reek, Rodrik killed Reek thinking it was Ramsey but Ramsey switched places with Reek to remain alive. When Theon took Winterfell "Reek" (aka Ramsey) pledged allegiance to him to get out of the cells, then said that he could round up Northmen to break Rodrik's seige of Winterfell. He did and broke Rodrik's forces and killed him, then Theon opened the gates for him and he betrayed Theon, killed the ironmen and burned Winterfell.
