Messi didnt do shit before Maradona either. Plus Argentina is the only team gayer than Portugal so I win.
yeah they're both pretty gay and if we're going by play for one's national team (the true test of a hero) then, world rankings 1. poldi 2. schweini
who plays better for their national team than those two besides xavi and david villa or maybe arshavin
davide santon raped ronaldo in the champions league last year. Quote from Santon "My high school exams were tougher than Ronaldo."
so was i question is who are the best players on the international scene for their respective teams condition: goalies dont count cuz they use their hands my answer god tier: xavi, podi, arshavin, villa, schweini, maicon
Ladies and gentlemen, I will show the Soccer Board how to tear Cas' heart out... If we're going by play for one's national team (the true test of a hero) then, world rankings: 1.
Man, Lampard has A LOT of work to do before England should ever forgive him for his performance in Germany. That was as atrocious as it gets, IMHO.
Shocker we're going by current accomplishments and form not historical play. I guess i should've clarified knowing how much you romans like to look to the past.
Oh hi GOAL FABIO GROSSO ITALIA vs BULGARIA 2-0 MONDIALI 2010 09-09-2009 FULL SCREEN 16/9 HQ Grosso is ALWAYS awesome for the Azzurri. Plus, do you remember that time when he destroyed Germany in Dortmund, where Germany had never lost?
oh i'm sorry is that more talk about the past. germany is firmly on the front foot with our eyes gazing forward man. brb bailing italy out of its crippling debt and sending them trashbags to clean up after their romanian immigrants and napolis(lol)
Man, you have no idea (I'm sure you do actually) how much that goal meant to me. I was literally shitting fucking brix after the phantom penalty was called in the first ten minutes... I really thought Italy was going to get screwed by the refs yet again. Of course, Materazzi ties it, and then we get a 100% legit goal (Toni) called off for a phantom offside later in the match. Still, you cannot possibly argue that Grosso's goal against Germany and then his World Cup winning P.K. against France were not the best of the tournament for us. Cas, Germany hasn't won anything in 90% of this board's lifetime, so I wouldn't want to look backward if I were you either. Italy is the worst at his been in a long time, but we'll be very good in 2012, IMHO. There is a shit ton of quality/young Italian talent that is being ignored by senile ol' Lippi.
so 90% of the board is <13 eh im not saying italy wont rebound, but germany harvested the stimulus that 2006 gave its greater soccer psyche almost perfectly and has been upswinging at a constant pace since that overachievement.
You think more than 10% of this board is over the age of 13? Only faggits count that stupid tournament anyway, IMVHO. I do think Germany took a lot a way from their performance in 2006. The fact that Argentina sucks ass has to have Germany, Spain, and Brazil licking their chops (Brazil would have destroyed Argentina anyway, so they actually don't care). The World Cup is so fucking weird, though. I'd almost rather have no one thinking you're going to win than going in under the radar. Every time I've seen the tournament, Italy was one of the two or three favorites, and we failed constantly until 2006, when we weren't a favorite.
How convenient for an Italian to belittle the Euros. I felt Argentina's 2006 team was way overrated. Too much triangle passing in the middle third, not enough actual danger or scoring ability. If you put Messi now on that team then, they win going away. But they didn't have a serious attacking player. I don't think there's a favorite for 2010 like Brasil was in 06 or France in 02 (both of whom abided by your theory and fell completely on their faces), but there's certainly a tier. If Spain, Germany, or Brasil don't win I'll be pretty shocked. in before "omf what about the dutch, such beautiful soccer "
almost poetic, such beautiful passing and skill in fact, lets watch some vids Holland goals Euro 2008 Netherlands soccer
how'd the nederlands actually do in that tournament in 2008 btw oh that's right they got eliminated in the quarters by teams that actually score goals and know how to win/defend like always
This is just my opinion, so take it, FWIW: EURO: When you can't beat the best country in European Football history on the world's biggest stage, focus on something else and use it to claim glory.
