Surprised not to find a thread. Just finished and thought it was really entertaining. It’s made by the guy who created Peaky Blinders and is a mostly true story about an innovative and crazy group of British Soldiers who heavily influenced the war in Africa during WWII. Some really great characters. I highly recommend. Best comparison for me would be Inglourious Bastards.
It's on BBC iPlayer here. I found it just as I was coming to the end of the audiobook. Good series, if you enjoyed it you should read/listen to the book. It is 10x better.
I didn't realize this never hit streaming services. That explains why not many people got into it. I get it from torrance. This is what it says now... You can stream SAS Rogue Heroes on the following services: AMC+: Available on AMC+ Amazon Prime Video: Available on Amazon Prime Video Freevee: Available on Amazon Freevee MGM+: Available on MGM+ Philo: Available on Philo The Roku Channel: Available on The Roku Channel fuboTV: Available on fuboTV Epix Amazon Channel: Available on Epix Amazon Channel AMC Plus Apple TV Channel: Available on AMC Plus Apple TV Channel Spectrum On Demand: Available on Spectrum On Demand
I am interested in this show, and looks like it’s an MGM+ show. The various places listed above either have a few episodes as free previews, or are ways you can subscribe to mgm+ as a channel on their service
You can do a free trial on appleTV, Amazon prime, or on the actual mgm+ app. I have used all of mine on other shows lol
looks like season 2 just dropped (on the torrance sites, at least). had no idea a second season was coming.
I watched season 1 but it was over 2 years ago. I remember liking it so I may need to search out a YT recap video or something for S1.
I'm through episode 2 of the second season, that's all that was available on MGM+ through Amazon Prime. Really enjoying the shift to Europe
First season was 6 epsiodes so assume that was the finale Best $7 I've ever spent watching these 2 seasons. Season 2 didn't end as strong as season 1 but Paddy is a significantly better main character than Bill.
