I could just tell Gaetz HATES Bumble. Creeps hate obstacles that are designed to prevent creeps from being creepy.
On one side, war crimes and the removal of rights. On the other, porno cartoons and sex trafficking pizza parlors
I like that this guy went from trying to have substantive discussions about abortions to posting terrible memes in a little over 12 hours.
Good meme. People are only allowed to be upset by and/or discuss one societal changing event a decade.
Imagine a group of men being derided for being highly educated. Couldn’t do it? Neither could I. It’s more low key, but it’s reminiscent of Madi Cawthorn referring to women as “Earthen Vessels”.
You know what America needs? Sting (singer not the wrestler) to do an online “Masterclass” on edging. Men will never regain control if they cannot master the penultimate form of self-control.
Yes imagine being mad about a bad faith Supreme Court decision (by Justice's who stole seats and lied to get on the Court) that takes away the rights of 50% of our citizens or an illegal war that is killing civilians left and right when you can be mad about taking down statues of traitors, emails, laptops that prove nothing, fictional Disney characters engaged in fictional orgies, teaching our kids what actually happened to black people and how it is still incredibly debilitating today, and brands trying to present a more inclusive image. I am not sure which side makes more sense. It is so hard.
Definitely not tied to income levels; more like age. Anything to avoid teen pregnancies. DISCLAIMER: I am not serious about actually doing this.
Sorry, bad joke. Teach at a school with a lot of…unwanted surprises. Very frustrating to deal with and stressful, so we make jokes.
This is what scares me. Once you get rid of medical privacy for abortions then you can get rid of it for others. I could see a world where employers require medical records before hiring someone in order to keep their health insurance cost down.
I don't actually care about individual liberties or women's bodily autonomy, therefore nobody else does and they're just mad because CNN told them to be
I think the biggest predictor of being right wing has to be the complete and total lack of empathy or being able to look at the world from a perspective that isn’t your own. Has to be.
Like, me, my life, and everything I know is what is safe and comfortable and everything I don’t know is bad until proven otherwise
I am certain one of the reasons for wanting to strike down Roe is to strike down one of the pillars of medical privacy. Once Roe is gone you will see court cases that will further erode this right. One of our top notch constitutional lawyers can probably weigh in here. I said this the other night, we haven't seen a court this conservative in 100 years. They're going to go narrow af on the 14th and 9th [edit: and 4th] for sure (while broadening the 2nd, of course). Just go all over the place in their interpretation of the Constitution and precedent as they see fit to reshape society. edit: Pretty good article on the subject from way back in that pre-covid year 2019 https://www.desmoinesregister.com/s...e-reversed-abortion-supreme-court/1561115001/ Spoiler The Supreme Court’s decision finding a right to privacy arose in a 1965 case involving the right of a married couple to use contraception called Griswold v. Connecticut. But the right has become responsible for court decisions supporting adult rights to sexual intimacy, to gay marriage, and to the rights of parents to make family decisions, such as whether their children are home-schooled or go to religious schools. The right to privacy also supports an adult’s right to decide their medical care, and an adult’s right to die, by rejecting medical care in certain circumstances. This medical care area also implicates the rights and autonomy of the physically disabled and the mentally ill. Further, the right to privacy can support artificial insemination. And transgender individuals have used privacy to argue that schools cannot ban them from certain bathrooms, and that government must generally support their gender identity choices.
For a group that likes to cry all the time about crime, they sure do like creating a lot of criminals. Unless, of course, it involves guns, then they want to create as few criminals as possible.
Yes, it comes down to caring about others, and maybe on a more expansive level caring about others beyond those who you associate as "like" you.
Right wingers reel in terror at the thought of socialized medicine until they're forced to beg for money on GoFundMe to cover abhorrent out of pocket medical expenses. It's amazing how quickly they adopt very liberal positions once their personal lives are at stake
The Christian oriented version of these are funny because of the absurdly high percentage the sites keep. It’s more than a tithe
