i'm rooting for luton because they have a villa loanee in midfield, but don't *actually* care that much GL
So I'm going to London for a wedding. Never been to a premier league game or any professional soccer game, but it's very high on my sports bucket list. I'm not staying too far from Crystal Palace... how hard is it to get tickets to one of these matches? It will be just me on the 28th of May.
It'll be the last game of the season. Not sure how difficult tickets will be to get to, but Arsenal, Brentford, Chelsea, and Palace all have home games. Brentford host Man City that day which would be cool since they'll likely be lifting the trophy there(I think?) If you want to go to a game that this thread is meant for, the League 2 final is taking place at Wembley
Out of all of the matches in South and West London it will probably be the easiest to get tickets to. Seems like most neutrals who want to see a match while visiting London end up at Selhurst Park. I don’t know any Palace fans but try the club website first. I would imagine City@Brentford and Newcastle@Chelsea are going to be pretty hard to get.
I, for one, am shocked that GK was absolutely wrong about anything football related. So out of character!
Very happy with the final. Boro would've been a disappointing addition to boring ass Sheffield and Burnley.
Think because we've seen them recently. It's always fun to have fresh teams and stadiums, that most people haven't seen before
They were only down for a season. Just like to see a variety of clubs come up. It's not a reflection on how they play.
The contrast of how they play now vs how they played when they were up makes them a little different to me (plus Kompany bias)
Speaking of, for the final, I think I’m throwing my support behind Coventry aka the Sky Blues aka Bluesky aka please send me an invite.
