Lost my first bet of more than $5 haha, put $25 on the Steelers and ... well... they fucking sucked. Now, I'm in a shitty mood while all of my other bandwagon Packer fan friends are celebrating. Any tips you can give to someone just starting out? I guess basketball tips would be the best since basically that's all I will bet on for a while until football comes back in season. Thanks!
I just did a two game parlay, put $3 dollars up to win 7.80 Lakers -3 1/2 over Memphis Dallas -15 over Cleveland good idea?
dont parlay if you want to win long term. it can be a lot of fun to hit a parlay, but they dont hit that often. if a line is too good to be true, it usually is. look for home underdogs where you think the line is low...usually a trap game. dont ever bet more than you can afford to lose and dont chase. money management is the key.
Chase means you lose 5 on one game then you bet 10 on the next so you will be up 5 originally. If you lose 10 on the next game then you bet 20. NBA has NO Trends whatsoever. Just a hard game to handicap. Probably the hardest by a mile
correct. also, remember, Vegas had to get the money to build all those shiny canisnos at some point....
college basketball has some trends. I tend to look more towards how a team is playing in their Last 5 games overall, and last 5 home/away. There are some very profitable teams when it comes to ATS records v W/L Records....
