apparently this gentleman tracks the schedules well enough to suggest this kind of thing. Would mean early January.
Well, this would have been our lineup. So frustrating. They had three of their best players out today. Sucks that that even enters my mind when playing Burnley.
That's a month. I think we all figured that was the minimum based on last update. The way it's worded sounds like new news, but saying 2022 feels like a worse way of saying the same thing.
Yeah, I had also seen suggestions shortly after the injury that he could be ready by Rennes which is Dec 9. I was too hopeful, I should know better by now, I’m a Spurs fan.
It certainly appears that way as of late, but he also hasn't played striker. It could also have as much to do with the fact that if you put Son there he is actually less effective overall. May be just be the best mix to get more out of Son.
There have been a lot of reports lately that seem to significantly differ from what Conte is saying publicly. At this point I would trust Conte and some of the Italian Journalists. All that said, saying Bergwijn is done at the club would be an unusual thing to share publicly even if you plan on doing that. It could just be he doesn't think he will work out, but until then let's try him as a backup to Kane since we have nobody there and try to keep team morale and enthusiasm high until changes are made.
Feels like today's match should be a pretty good indicator - a bellwether, if you will - of how the rest of the season will go, even if we bring in some fresh players in the winter window. Extra rest, time to prepare, evening match at home against a well managed, hungry, midtable club. Even if the team isn't nearly there as far as Conte's tactics are concerned, even if they drop points, you'd love to see them put in something better than what was shown against that Slovenian side last week. We all know 1/2 the team (if not more) needs to be "refreshed" over the next 3 or 4 windows, but... let's see some progress.
Dang I really thought this was a 12:45 est game for some reason. Now what am I supposed to do, work?!
I had to look it up. Looks amazing. I've never been to any Nordic countries which is strange because my sister is a Swedish citizen and lives in Stokholm for the past ten years.
Good to get a goal from a secondary player . Been a problem getting goals from non attacking players for a couple years now.
There’s kind of a weird instinct to recycle possession backwards at the halfway line. Invites pressure and Brentford is more than happy to press.
We have no ability to penetrate at all in the midfield and they are doing a good job of defending the wings.
that's like the 3rd time this match a Brentford player has fouled a spur by his throat with no cards...
A poor cutback decision by Reggie. A subpar headed goal on an empty net by Sanchez. We are controlling the game and have about all of the chances but I think we will need three to be clear.
It’s good to finally control play against subpar teams again. The final ball into the box is till poor most of the time. But we’re at least asking some questions of the defense and making yet a bit nervous. The # of aimless balls forward have gone way down.
now that I see the replay of the goal, I don't think Davies even touched it. guess it really was an OG
