    someone was definitely watching because the sheriff showed up at our doorstep with our toddler. maybe had an hour to ourselves with the house empty. paid for a whole day too. huge waste. never again.

    :idk: I'm not sold on it & do agree it's weird if they are home.

    Kid is great. I don't have grandparents or any family close to me. I don't have the luxury many do of "dropping him off at the grandparents", which is what I was told to do vs taking him on vacation with me.

    Trying to do something different on an anniversary then going spending the same amount of money on dinner. Relax in peace at a pool for an afternoon, go to a brewery, then head back early evening. Going to a water park doesn't really fit into that agenda. Water park appears to be equally or more expensive
