Watched the Xmas episode tonight. Love the warm fuzzies as Higgins goes around the table toasting everyone’s hometown.

That's awesome but the ending of season 3 was great. I hope this doesn't come off as a shitty sequel. I do think these actors and writers combined with positivity will never be a bad thing.

I LOVED the first two seasons of the show. The third season was so bad I don’t even think I watched the last couple of episodes

I really hope his dipshit kid is not reprising his role

S3 came pretty close to Game of Thronesing the series.

 

Honestly, most of season 2 was pretty bad too. Season 1 was goated

I like that it is back, but have no clue where they start from after that finale. Kind of shocked Sudeikis is back and wonder if he's going to still be the lead.

 

Season 3 was way too precious. But I’ll still watch it.

 

There were some down parts of S3 and it was the weakest but some of the overreactions in here are insane to me. Show should end at 3...unless 4 is really good

 

The info I saw on a new season only said Sudeikis was returning only a as a producer - nothing for sure on a Lasso return.

 

Apparently Jamie tartt actor is out due to conflicts with other shows. Hope that gets worked out.

 

I think the show is really hard to critique for a variety of circumstances. A huge portion of the audience fell in love with S1 after the fact while binging it during the pandemic, which made it weird for them to compare it to later seasons watching it live. And then the show became so personal for a lot of people that there are some who just can't accept any criticisms of it ever.

S3 was fine. I didn't like some big parts of the finale, but many others did and that's great. I hope S4 will be good, but my expectations are kind of low.

 

Watched Shrinking this week because of this comment (and the replies). Very good show, 8/10

Saw S1 a while ago, just now watching S2. This scene? Where they are cutting back and forth from Ted telling the story of what happened to his father and Rebecca talking about her father cheating? I mean, holy shit. That's television.
