Farley is so garbage. And of course refs don't call the PF on Sweat and the Titans shoot themselves on the foot and fall apart after a great Henry run.
Weren't we going to take some of the load off Henry this season? Drafted Haskins, released Chestnut, who I thought looked pretty good, and we give no one else carries today?
I despise this offense and hate Tannehill like he’s done something to me personally. But that was a hell of a catch by Hooper.
We’ve beaten shit teams so far this year. I want to see what we do during the tougher stretch of our schedule.
It's gonna get ugly if the offense doesn't get their shit together. Defense is only gonna win so many games.
Crazy as bad as our offense is, we'll probably be sitting at 6-3 after nine games with Denver and Houston coming up.
Jon Robinson and Todd Downing should have no affiliation with the Tennessee Titans this time next year
9 first downs last night... Not writing Willis off yet with the shit OC we have but he has not looked good at all in these 2 starts.
I don't see anyway they willingly part ways with Robinson. If we are lucky they will force a change at OC but I don't have high hopes for that.
He’s young, but if he can develop and you can build some RPO type O with him Titans may have something. Still a long way to go though
He showed some flashes of what it could be last night. Imagine if they can figure it out and you have to game plan for Henry and a running QB. Not sure it can happen, but scary to think about.
Need to see the advanced stats on how many of Henry's carries this year have him getting hit at or behind the LOS. It seems likes it's almost every damn carry cause the line can't block for shit.
That seems so hard to believe just going off the eye test. It seems like every other carry is him getting hit at or behind the line.
From a money-to-talent ratio standpoint we are horrible. And we're projected at $14m over the cap next year. That Eagles game kind of seemed like a playoff preview.
Good point. That’s what it boils down to. We have been lulled into complacency by the fact that are in such a terrible division. Our problems would be magnified if had to play good teams twice a year. The metric somehow became about playoff appearances and not playoff wins. The talent level top-to-bottom on this team is barely a Wild card team I like the move for the message it sends. We aren’t going to be happy with where we are even as a 4 seed. The OL and WR positions in particular are a disaster and even with some bad injury luck it’s almost entirely on Robinson. Many ITT said at the time of the Wilson debacle that missing that badly on a first round pick sets you back a few years. He has since missed on another first rounder in Farley. Do any of us honestly believe he will ever play meaningful football for this team?
From ESPN article... I knew it was bad but thats basically 5 wasted 1st round picks. Only two of the seven first-round selections Robinson made since taking over as the general manager in 2016 are on the current roster. Up to this point, none of his selections have made it to a second contract with the Titans.
All the way around. Just fucking gross. So are there any big names on the oline that could potentially be FAs?
If they don't fire everyone involved in the offense.. I hope they lose the rest of the games this year. Maybe that will force some changes.
If Vrabel doesn't clean house on the offensive side then he needs to be fired too. I have 0 faith in any of those happening though. They will use the injuries as an excuse to keep the status quo another year. And we are gonna be horrible next year. 13 million over the cap with only 38 players on contract.
Did you bring some kind of curse with you? Juat kidding, we sucked last year too. It's been smoke and mirrors for two years now.
Since this doesn’t have an affect on our playoff chances they’re resting everyone for the showdown with Jacksonville (I hate that’s a real sentence)
I know. They have given a bunch of guys injury designations. I know we probably wouldn’t beat the Cowboys but just surrendering our 6th loss in a row just seems shitty. Especially when we are going to lose next week. Oh well. Let’s hope for a top 10 pick
