Pretty disappointed if it’s range is 200 miles when it comes off the lines in 2020.

If I had an electric car I would rent a car if I wanted to take a road trip. Taking a road trip in a Tesla and having to plan around charging networks and chilling for 45-60 minutes at a place out of the way while your car charges would suck ass

Oh so you do have some at 240? How many?

I've never played with them. In January, does it matter if it's 299 or 260? Do you get more the lower it is?

his cost on the January ones was $37.03 x 28 contracts = $103,684

    Current price on those is $48 x 28 contracts = $134,400

yes. His strike price is $300 minus his cost. So $300-$37.03 = $262.97

So I bought the right to sell Tesla at $300 per share in Jan 2019 but I had to pay $37 per share for that right

So if Tesla is trading for 200 but I can sell it to you at 300 that’s 100 but I had to pay 37 so I only really make 63 per share

And each contract gives me the right to do that for 100 shares

His unrelenting nerdiness is kind of off-putting

Insideevs is pretty solid, gives a rough number for US deliveries. October 2nd or 3rd we will get Tesla’s numbers.

More time to get their shit together.
    Stock is priced on potential.
Oct. production numbers will be close to estimate, then revised later.
Same thing will happen again come Feb and you'll be fucked w the march position.

I don’t think retweeting a blog post is some ground breaking market manipulation. He’s done other things that I’d point to before that.

But I’m sure he knew the stock would go up with the retweet

Well if Tesla pulls off what they are forecasting aka a nice profit, the Q4 numbers come out in mid Feb which would make those March puts more risky.

As where with the Jan ones you won’t have to worry about a pop from Q4 delivery numbers because that info won’t be out till the 2nd or 3rd anyways.

Sure but the stock in the past has gone down from poor insideevs numbers. Its all part of the game.
