Maybe they are going with the comics except she plays the black noir role trying to drive homelander insane so she can kill him He slips into madness and starts saying shit like "I can do anything I want" late in the books. You can already see he's heading down that road

Didn’t start the show until about a month ago. Got caught up last night and was able to watch the finale as well. What a freaking show. Love it.
I loved this season. I love the fact they will go actually anywhere. Really enjoyed them going full on political. Only complaint is I would have loved another two episodes to flesh a bit more out.
Kind of. She has the same belief system as the character in the comics. The difference is he didn't hide it at all, and everyone knew he was one of the first supes from Nazi Germany.
Season was very good but not as good as S1. Just didn’t feel as focused but great finale and teaser for S3.
So is Homelander's kid potentially more powerful than he Is? When homelander does the laser eyes it slices like a knife but when the kid did it, it was more of an explosion and annakin'd stormfront.
I think that’s more a function of Homelander being able to control it and his kid doing it for a first time in an uncontrollable fit of panic.
Yes, but her character arc, as far as we know, is complete. So I don’t think comparing her to the character in the comics delves into spoiler territory. With that said, I LOVE Aya Cash and I hope they find a way to bring her back next season.
She's so good....Need to keep her around to help drive homelander nuts. He's already on the insanity path. They do such a great job with staying true to the characters on this show and then making appropriate tweeks from the comics to make them even better
My wife speaks German and said the same thing. She said it sounded like she was having flashbacks to her childhood. Something about "we used to sit in the apple orchard and it would last forever."
loved the finale. I am curious Spoiler as to why Neuman exploded Raynor's head earlier in the season. IIRC in her scene with Hughie, she's running on a very much anti-Vought campaign. however, I'm sure they'll expand on everything next season. can't wait

How would she have gotten compound V? I’m thinking she’s really part of Vought but set up as an enemy so she attracts their real enemies.
