The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz

It's literally one of the worst shows going.

 

I voted yes only because of the bit when Kurkjian comes on and they play the What He Looks Like game. Slays me every single time.

 

It's really good for the most part but Dan's shtick about talking race all the time has really gotten old

 

i'm guessing it's a bit of an acquired taste because the people that enjoy it seem to love it and have listened for a long time

The co-host and far and away the best part of the show IMO...

 

Some of their segments are hilarious. The March madness brackets they do are always great

 

It's pretty hit or miss

 

i think it's how you say 'dick' in italian

 

it is hilarious and terrible at the same time. i listen to the best of podcast a good bit.

Wake and Take was so awesome until Dan ruined it

 

Stugotz's weekend observations, the Ron Magill segment, the looks like game, and having random celebrities pick football games make it the best show on radio for me. Also Rosie Perez is great as a boxing analyst.

ive noticed that the people who don't like Lebatard tend to like Cowherd.

 

People from Florida really love the show if that tells you anything

The Le Batard Show is like Kyle Schwarber. The hometown fans hype it up like the greatest thing ever and the home runs are awesome, but he strikes out a lot and gives you nothing when not hitting HRs.

I don't like a lot about Le Batard outside of him annoying the hell of Tony Kornheiser on PTI.

 

I tried watching that show of his with his dad and my god that was awful

a world in which those are the two choices is not a world i want to live in

 

People from Florida seem to defend him the way people from Cincinnati defend skyline.

Like everything else on espn that isn't live sports - it sucks.

Stugotz is my favorite person at ESPN, so I love the show.

 

I love how Stugotz fades out at the end of words. Any time he says a word that ends in "day" it sounds like "dhe". Sunday is "sundhe"

 

Why can't Bomani Jones get more screen time? There's also a guy that used to be on sportsnation and the jump but I don't know if he still is. He's really good.

But nope, let's keep giving Golic, Jr jobs everyday of the week.

 

he's getting his own show with pablo torre, so i think he's just sticking to radio so they can get that up and running

What is the running joke about Stugotz going to Sioux Falls, SD?

 

Stu Falls

 

They reached out to him and want to do a Stu Gotz day and give him the key to the city. The problem is for as much as Stu loves people fawning over him, he hates being inconvenienced and having to take a connecting flight to get to Soux Falls is very inconvenient for a rich boy like Stu

 

The stugotz phlegm episode from a month or so ago had me crying

 

Show is great. I miss the days when Boog was on with him and Hock was the producer but Stu is ok too.

 

Started listening a little over a year ago and it has become my favorite sports radio show by far. I like their indifference to prediction radio for football and their general weirdness. I love that the show will float away from sports which is unlike anything ESPN Radio puts out (RIP SVP and Rusillo). Dan's certainly a blowhard at times but I love Stugotz and the shipping container of frightened refugees too much to dislike the show.

Weekend Observations, Wake and Take, and the Tim (Tom) Kirkjian segments are great IMO.
