I know some guys here like THS like the outdoors so thought I'd share some pics I took. This is Multnomah Falls in a place called the Columbia Gorge in Oregon (FYI, I ain't no tree-hugging hippy, I just love a good hike in the great outdoors, i.e. pretty much anywhere in the Northwest)... From the top looking down... View from the top...
Nice ... another Oregonian!!! I live in Portland, and have been in that area many time's... The falls are badass.. OP do you live in Portland??
Hey, I've been to Multnomah Falls before. It was badass, my mom has all the pics. Somewhere she's got them of me on the bridge and stuff. Pretty good stuff.
The Pacific Northwest rainforest pretty much owns every other hiking and outdoors-y wilderness in the country
yeah i gotta get over there and see those limestone cliffs that drop 100 feet vertically into the ocean those are probably one of my favorite natural formations on this earth
Canada's East Coast, specifically Newfoundland, looks pretty much the same as Ireland. It's amazing out there, so quiet and peaceful.
I was thinking the same thing - that was beautiful. hey tony, did you ever take a stab at making those Coca-Cola ribs?
Hiking at Crater Lake in Southern Oregon should be on everyone's bucket list. View there is amazing...
Did I say that? No I was just implying that since the common misconception to east coasters are that the NW is full of peace-loving, tree-huggin, dirty, smelly hippies.
Word. My family is originally from Port Angeles and we have a cabin there so I'm right around that area all the time. Out by Forks is incredible.
Since this is turning into a nature picture thread, here's some from my recent camping trip to Italy/Slovenia/Croatia.. Lago del Predil, Italy Premantura, Croatia
Me and a buddy are talking about going on a hike the week before Christmas for 7 days. We want snow and cold weather backpacking. What are some of the best parts to backpack? The most scenic? The most secluded? Any other knowledge you can share about it then lets hear it. Thanks
i always tried to hike the oregon trail but i either died or quit because of frustation or it took too long
