AM: Cetaphil face wash Kiehls lotion with sunscreen in it PM: Cetaphil face wash Neutrogena triple age repair Kiehls avocado eye cream Exfoliating face wash twice per week No clue how good this is or what’s missing
Thanks. I’ve seen some of the personal saunas in Instagram m, so I was curious if that is what you had.
Adding some context here. The Goshi Towel is like a loofah/towel/fine grit sandpaper combo that lets you scrub the shit out of yourself. The larger size allows you to get to hard to reach spots. Great if you’re working out/sweating a bunch. Can’t recommend it enough, never felt cleaner.
Hypervolt gun was an incredible purchase. Anyone who works out a lot or is sore a ton, it’s a game changer
To clarify - she's only used it once meaning we've had it for like 24 hours not that she doesn't like it enough - our other gf is buying the same model so for $200 it's definitely not a crazy purchase.
Any consensus on face wash recommendations? Kiels? Something else? Exfoliating or no? In the market for a new shower face wash.
Also looking for a recommended basic skincare routine for somebody who has never done anything other than just cetaphil or neutrogena face wash. Mid 30s. Is it as simple as just sunscreen and retinol of some type?
I’m not one to say things I don’t use don’t work. So idk about expensive lotions and creams. What I will say I certain things do work. Sleep, water, sunscreen. Always wear sunscreen, drink plenty of water and get your sleep. That with some regular moisturizing lotion and great genetics is all you need imo. I can’t stress enough how important sunscreen water and sleep are and for the love of god don’t smoke and try not to drink too much soda and booze.
Any specific lotion you recommend for face? I'm good on water, don't smoke and about to cut out drinking for a while, but I do have a 1 yr old so sleep isn't great.
Isn’t there some argument on whether this is actually healthy or not? Obviously, there’s a limit if you’re a naturally hairy dude but nose hairs have a natural function that you’re inhibiting by going full scorched earth. I trim mine with a little electric trimmer every few weeks but that just weeds out the unsightly ones.
Also got roped into a subscription face care service from IG early last year. I never used anything so this has been a nice start but I don’t know if they’re actually great products or anything is an improvement over nothing. The package I use, at $30/mo https://www.luminskin.com/products/classic-maintenance-eye-essentials
Also, I need to start doing a pedicure every mont or couple of months. My feet are jammed in climbing shoes a few times a week so my feet are perma-fucked but a pedicure helps. Luckily, my partner is an ex-dancer so she doesn’t give a shit
There is. I only do it - and my ears - like 3-4 times a year. I trim regularly, but sometimes I just need a reset.
My wife uses these two things based on some criteria that I don’t know, but they seem good. I’ve been meaning to start using something and just forget. Usual: https://www.ulta.com/p/true-cream-m...NlifubyucY2d5V-wfjzLp_B-WbHtH53xoC4roQAvD_BwE Days she will go outside for more than a few minutes, as a translucent ginger: https://www.ulta.com/p/anthelios-light-fluid-face-sunscreen-spf-60-xlsImpprod3840055
Have been looking for just a monthly sauna subscription or something and that shit is outrageous around denver. I use face wash and moisturizer, but honestly have never shaved with anything besides a razor and water. Baby fucking face
Is this the one? I'm not opposed to spending more, just looking for something good for the face and around the eyes.
that’s probably good. all the cerave stuff is quality. you could do this combo as well. clean with the cerave then work in the moisturizer while your face is still just slightly damp. ideally you could work a toner in between the moisturizer and cleanser steps but that’s next steps
this has been my favorite moisturizer to date. smells like fruit loops and keeps me flawless and glowing
Thanks, yeah I'm not looking to spend that much on the Exfolikate stuff lol. Will that regime help with wrinkles starting to form under the eyes? I'm about to turn 40, wasn't sure what was best to combat that. Picture below is similar to what I'm talking about, but not nearly as bad as the person in the picture. Spoiler
My wife has a jar of this one, so I’ve been using it on my face, hands, and arms before bed the last month or so. I can tell a difference.
totally fair. definitely a personal preference thing. i love that moisturizer because it’s sweet and fruity (like me). staying clean, hydrated, and exfoliated will definitely help your complexion and keep your skin looking fuller - reducing the appearance of lines. taking it a step further, you can always look at doing the occasional face/eye mask. collagen in the mask will help a lot. you can find good ones at target for $5 or less. tbh, the ultimate fix is just a lil bit of botox
i have a mango scented sunscreen and boy it made the ladies want me at Disneyland. Pantries might or might not have been dropping and tossed in my direction. One woman remarked how good I smelled and my wife was like “bitch”.
I’m high maintenance face care guy. I don’t have bad skin but it gets oily. If you’re looking for a great moisturizer with sunscreen, Anthony’s makes a 30spf that’s the best I’ve tried https://anthony.com/products/day-cr...zAZvUXAj0n2PiKkR7GPBT9l-gwk48BohoCoiAQAvD_BwE
Any of yall use anything for dark spots under your eyes? Ive always had them. I get enough sleep. I’ve tried ice and stuff. Any suggestions?
What face wash do you recommend? Also, do you just apply the moisturizer in the morning after washing your face?
I use Kiehls with a Clarisonic or wash cloth to wash my face. I use a mild Kiehls toner after I wash my face and then hit it with the Anthony’s. They make a moisturizer without spf that’s awesome too. You probably don’t need the toner but it keeps my pores clean.
