Well most people say they can’t watch Requiem for a Dream more than once yet I’ve probably watched it at least a half dozen times
I’m 15 minutes into this Don’t Pick Up the Phone documentary and mind is already completely blown by the absurdity.
I don’t mind either but I try to usually check if there’s multiple languages and if it messes with the plot. For example I just started 1899 and it messes with the plot if it’s dubbed.
i would think that troll is not as plot driven so yiu could get away with dubbed if you don’t want to focus on the movie 100%
I started with dubbed but recognized an English actor so switched to subtitles just in case. I’m sure it won’t matter like you said. Thanks.
Until now I thought Troll was the older Trollhunter just finally making it to Netflix. Especially with both being foreign. Couldnt understand the hype.
Netflix now just suggests mostly documentaries for me. Watched Don't Answer the Phone and The Volcano: Rescue from Whakaari the last 2 days,. The Volcano doc is super intense.
I enjoyed White Noise, but I read and enjoyed the book in college. I can see it not hitting home if you go I'm blind.
Just started Kaleidoscope. It's encouraged to watch the 1st eight episodes in any order of your choosing or whatever Netflix says.
Does everyone pay for the $20/month version with 4k or whatever? I was thinking it was a waste until I watched the Island of Sea Wolves documentary. Basically not sure if it is worth it unless you watch nature docs, but also dont know how much worse it is either.
yes. Netflix's investments in 4k and associated quality improvements are probably the best in streaming.
That's kinda what I was thinking. Watching football games on Amazon once a wk in 4k is amazing compared to what I have to watch with everything else.
Curious about this as well. Probably going to start it tomorrow but I don’t know how the random episode thing works.
Not for me because I got it from torrance. I did google the best order to watch it though and followed this https://www.vulture.com/article/netflix-kaleidoscope-episodes-best-chronological-order.html Viewing order: “Yellow,” “Violet,” “Orange,” “Green,” “Blue,” “Red,” “Pink,” “White”
Interesting. Will check it out. Confused how there can be a recommended order if it truly meant to be random though
Each one is self contained and set in its own period of time, So the “recommended” order is chronological but it doesn’t have to be viewed that way. Or that’s how I read it
Spoilering the tweet. But Netflix put out a couple other orders to watch it. Titles have the timing in them. Not sure if that’s a spoiler? Spoiler
THEY GOT LAUREN FUCKING LONDON IN THIS But Eddie Murphy and Queen JLD as the parents are pretty good casting Nia Long still looking fine as hell
Thanks for mentioning the Volcano doc. I watched it last night after reading your post. I had read a couple of things about the event, but the doc truly shines a bright light on just how awful it was for those there.
The Pale Blue Eye is OK. Kind of long. I did not see the end coming, but there were stretches that I wasn’t paying full attention, so might’ve missed clues
