well I watch his -ish shows so might as well
Some great love stories in Fauda. First true romance is when a young man kidnaps his aunt to force his cousin to help with their terrorist plans and proposed to said cousin shortly after.
Oddly enough, they do get married till she betrays him to the Jews. Her Jewish lover then blames her after his father was killed and the woman hangs herself
Next great love story is when a handsome young terrorist kills his brother then proposes to his widow a day later. She so far has rejected him but who knows what the future holds
after watching 3 eps of #blackAF I’m all in baby
it is like a black Curb but with the blackish/Barris spin on it
watched extraction last night, pretty great action
I just want to see how long they can go with the “because of slavery” episode titles tbqh
I love it, dude.
Barris said in an interview that slavery is his ‘North Star’. He can always come back to it.
He also said in and interview that he consulted with Larry David (he said David is one of the GOAT comedy writers) and it was David’s idea that he plays himself in the show.
Watched ep 1 & 2 of outerbanks last night.
Big fan so far.
Dead To Me returns this week
I got hooked yo
Oh hell yes
Knocked it out in a couple of days. Liked it. Sarah kinda reminded me of a younger Amanda Bynes.
I liked it
I'm through 5 episodes...can't figure out how much I like it yet, but I'm definitely entertained.
I feel like the kids in the show are really well done.
It has that goonies, stranger things kids cursing and being kids vibe.
That was me as well. I will watch season 2
The Half of It and All Day and a Night were both good but quite depressing. I enjoyed both.
I enjoyed the Outer Banks, set in Charleston South Carolina. It's a shitty version of the OC. It's super cheesy and mindless entertaining.
Plus Sara Cameron is pretty hot
Haha, yes. As someone how has been to OBX 100+ times I was kind of hoping to see some stuff I recognized. Lmao at all marsh and back water. Maybe they tried to pass thst off as the sound, but none of that shit exists.
They couldn't even use the correct fucking light house, which really annoyed me.
Apparently it was supposed to be there but moved locations over either the bathroom bill or the heart rate bill passed in NC
Them heading into a tropical depression,
which is only like 35 mph winds, but yet they capsized when a 20' wave hit them, passed out, and woke up a float clinging to the boat with life jackets on.
Look forward to S2 with them stealing the gold in the Bahamas
good cheezey show
bathroom bill is what caused it
New Seinfeld special
What a fucking bore

I’ve been watching The Magicians with my wife. I really like it. If you like fantasy stuff then it has everything you would want...except tits. Every episode I hope against hope to see Olivia Taylor Dudley’s warlocks. And there have been countless opportunities.
She is super underrated. She's baaad
just googled her...oh my
you guys follow the damn rules
her in glasses tho
She's fuckin power hot fellas
Really good show, we liked it a ton and I was kind of let down when it finished just because I wanted to watch more. Also surprisingly funny at times. I will say there were a ton of references that I am sure I missed between Elliot and Margo.
I mean he's not wrong
Anyone watch midnight gospel yet? Very good and deep with amazing visuals.
Tried to get into Seinfeld standup but the first 10 min or so was just so...dry
watching now...forgot how good it is
Just watched the first episode of #blackaf and I’m not feeling it.
I wasn't being ironic. He's fucking terrible.
Luckily I’m patient with TV because it definitely got better.
I've never found him particularly funny
loved the show (not the stand up, the sitcom), but it seems obvious that Seinfeld is not crazy talented. The writing makes this show funny and some acting but certainly not Seinfeld’s acting.
He's old school and sensibilities have passed him by. For him it's all about the art of getting from a to b to punchline - the formula and the mechanics of it, only at this point the progression is over exceedingly well worn territory. The "annoyances" that are his subject have been beaten to death and what he has to say about them isn't interesting or particularly clever. It doesn't help that he's never been good about talking about his extraordinary privilege in a way that is amusing/self depreciating - he rarely gets past just pointing it out matter of factly.
he is too rich to be funny. In other words what BellottiBold said in a much better way.
