Sinner gets revenge. Novak leading at 5-4 with Sinner serving in the 3rd set and Novak had 0-40 for 3 match points. Sinner comes back and wins 7-5. Incredible
He calls what we know as camps, academy camps. Guessing that's the relevance. He has like four camps within an hour of my home next summer with multiple dates at each.
I resented Novak for his brick wall style and snuffing out of Roger and Rafa, but am enjoying his attempt to fight Father Time with some humility and perspective.
Agreed. I'm not sure he would have been going at 100% against his female opponent, but that's still a great effort by Andreeva. Oh, and shitty attitude from Kostyuk. I get the whole Ukraine thing and I've also been completely on their side with the handshake philosophy, but now you're not even going to play the Russians? Come on.
The entire way they dealt with everything is just a joke. What’s the point of stripping their flag and country when they play if this is going to happen? Everyone knows who the Russian tennis players are. Yes some of them are assholes, but guess what, we have asshole Serbs, Americans, French cunts, Aussies, the list goes on and on.

Top 200 under radar players young and could make a run Arthur Fils. Career High 36 right now. Has the tools. Jack Draper - Ranked 61. Kids got it. Coming off last years injuries. Couldn't stay healthy Luca van Assche. Ranked #90. 19 years old, Still raw and got work to do. Don't see much high upside. More of a defender than offensive. Similar game could be an Alex De Minaur Alex Michelsen. Ranked #97. Massive server. More athletic John Isner Hamad Medjevoic. Ranked #113. This could be the major mover this year. Powerful game. Arthur Cazaux. Ranked #130. Another very all around game. Consistency has been his major problem Emilio Nava. Ranked #147. Exactly like Cazaux. Pablo Llamas Ruiz. Ranked #158. Really came on late in the year. Started last year ranked #352. Got to 144 before the US Open before losing in the 2nd Round Qualifiers to Dominic Stricker in a 3rd set tiebreaker 13-11. Jakub Mensik. Ranked #167. 18 years old. Started last year at 415. Great year, Lost to Fritz in the 3rd Round of the US Open and slowed down late in the year. Dino Prizmic. Ranked #178. 18 years old. Juncheng "Jerry" Zhang. Ranked #183. 18 years old
WTA Top 200 Under the Radar Linda Noskova. Ranked #41. 19 years old. Has unlimited talent. Last year was really her coming out party. 2nd year this should be a big year for her. Peyton Stearns. Ranked #49. Came out of nowhere last year. Ranked 209 to start the year. Her clay game was really amazing last year. Beating a bunch of good clay court players. Panna Udvardy, Leylah Fernandez. Beat Siniakova & Ostapenko at the French Open. Had to deal with an illness in the year that hurt her. Can’t wait to see her continue this year. Mirra Andreeva. Ranked #57. 16 years old and we all know how good she is. Mayar Sherif. Ranked #59. 27 years old but her Clay game is probably one of the best on the tours. Plays a lot of smaller tournaments (125’s) where she does very well winning back to back on Clay after the French Open. I love betting her and that’s why Im posting her here. Ashlyn Krueger. Ranked #82. 19 years old. Another girl that I hadn’t heard of until last year and her upside is big. Linda Fruhvirtova (#92) 18 years old, Diana Shnaider (#93) 19 years old and Brenda Fruhvirtova (#111) 16 years old. Erika Andreeva. Ranked #112. Mirra older sister at 19 years old. Power is superb. The only thing missing is her consistency and mental strength. Sara Bejlek. Ranked #129. Another 17 year old. Not crazy upside but love watching the young players. Celine Naef. Ranked #141. 18 years old. She made a little run on Grass which is where I learned of her. Was ranked outside the Top 400. Jumped 50 positions on the grass season. Beating Venus, McNally, Krueger, Yastremska. Losing to Kudermetova & Potapova Noma Noha Akuge. Ranked #177. Another unreal power talent. Just needs way more mental strength and consistency. She will have a lot of points to defend in July where she made the Finals in Hamburg on Clay. 30% of her points there. So if she gets a good first half of the season, she can make the Top 100.
2024 Season - Week 1 WTA I won't get the depth of qualifiers. Can't find a great site for the entry lists like the ATP Brisbane, Australia - 500 Top 8 Seeds - Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Karolina Muchova, Madison Keys, Jelena Ostapenko, Liudmila Samsonova, Daria Kastakina, Ekaterina Alexandrova Notable Wild Cards - Naomi Osaka Auckland, New Zealand - 250 Top 8 Seeds - Coco Gauff, Elina Svitolina, Lesia Tsurenko, Emma Navarro, Marie Bouzkova, Xinyu Wang, Petra Martic, Varvara Gracheva Notable Wild Cards - Amanda Anisimova, Emma Raucanu, Caroline Wozniacki Brisbane is completely stacked. Would have loved to see Osaka take a wild card in Auckland to get her feet wet. Coco should breeze in Auckland. But great chance for Anisimova, Raducanu & Wozniacki with a weaker field.
2024 Season - Week 1 ATP Challenger Many won't care about this but I almost love Challenger more than the top tour. Canberra, Australia - 125 - Hard Top 8 Seeds - Dominik Koepfer, Alexandre Muller, Facundo Diaz Acosta, Arthur Rinderknech, Michael Mmoh, David Goffin, Luca Nardi, Alex Molcan Notable Unseeded Players - Brandon Nakashima, Gabriel Diallo, Lloyd Harris, Emilio Nava, Jakub Mensik, Dino Prizmic Notable Qualifiers - Pablo Llamas Ruiz, Abduallah Shelbayh A lot of my up and comers in this tournament. Should be great. Noumea, New Caledonia - 100 - Hard Top 8 Seeds - Richard Gasquet, Constant Lestienne, Hugo Gaston, Benoit Paire, Arthur Cazaux, Marc Polmans, Nicolas Moreno de Alboran, Jesper De Jong Nonthaburi, Thailand - 75- Hard Top 8 Seeds - Dennis Novak, Zdenek Kolar, Mattia Bellucci, Ivan Gakov, Kimmer Coppejans, Beibit Zhukayev, Stefano Travaglia, Marco Cecchinato Notable Unseeded Players - Tennys Sandgren, Brandon Holt Notable Qualifiers - Lucas Pouille Oeiras, Portugal - 50- Indoor Hard Top 8 Seeds - Henrique Rocha, Joao Sousa, Oscar Otte, Cem Ilkel, Maxime Janvier, Leandro Riedi, Mikhail Kukushkin, Adrian Andreev Notable Unseeded Players - Ethan Quinn
Tennis season has begun — Fokina v. Seyboth Wild on TC. And we have a Hawkeye review malfunction after point one lol
Not only can they not show the replay, but the control room says in and the serve sure looked WAY out. I mean, half a foot easy.
