yeah tony's in north beach isn't too terribly far and consistently wins recognition for being one of the best pizza spots in the world. pizza is a good call
Routier and Tony's Pizza are my two recommendations. Went to a decent place last May for lunch before an illusionist performance but I can't remember the name of the place
Went back to Del Popolos when the family and I were in town a couple weeks ago. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
Just finished an 11 night road trip in Ireland/Northern Ireland Rented a car in Dublin, drove down to Cork and then drove as much of the Wild Atlantic Way up the west coast as I could before circling back around to do the coastal sites in Northern Ireland and finish up in Belfast. Incredible scenery Underrated: Sky Road near Clifden Mizen Head Sliabh Liag Belfast Overrated: Cliffs of Mohr Most of the Ring of Kerry (Gap of Dunloe and Cliffs of Kerry are great) Dublin
only thing I’d add to what’s in here is Ramen Danbo in Vancouver, it rules both awesome cities. renting a car and doing the sea to sky highway to Whistler is great too
Thank you. Probably more suggestions vs rules. Nice double cap as I walked from F to T in Atlanta this morning, bag at my feet.
Sliabh Liag rules, as does Belfast from what I experienced. But that’s basically true for the entire island. Beautiful place, great people.
no, there are very specific airline rules which are filed and approved with the FAA which state your personal item must go under your seat they just don’t always enforce it because it’s quicker to just let an asshole (you) be an asshole rather than stop boarding and make you put your shit where it should be very funny that you continue to think this is acceptable behavior
Well uh it’s not in the constitution so like is it even enforceable??!! or maybe just do the decent thing and leave space for your fellow travelers bringing larger bags.
A backpack can both be a personal item and a carry on that can go in the overhead. You're allowed one. As ai sit with my bag and my carry on in the overhead, ur very triggered
You said you were using more than the allowed One though. This is like you claiming a kid slamming a tray table for 4 horus is because of autism...then clarifying your kid does not have autism. Maybe overdosing on double cappuccinos is your issue, but we all tried spelling that out for you before.
this is like one of those baseline human decency things along with the shopping cart return and our special guy simply refuses to stop performing mental gymnastics to justify it
Then, not now. I've never said my son slammed a tray table for 4 hours. That's you over compensating for blasting a kid with Autism. We can link this posts if you wish What makes you feel better, some who at one point out two things up top, mainly on intl flights where the is endless room, or you attacking autistic kids and then also distorting facts so you can attack me over my child who at 2 wasn't completely silent and still for 4 hours?
I always return my cart and sometimes others. Yet here I am following the rules, changed behavior, and you're triggered over something from years ago. Falsely claiming I'm performing mental gymnastics
A backpack can be large and not fit under you seat appropriately. HTH. Often times on wide body jets there is ample room in OH compartments and def acceptable. Nearly every long haul 343 type configurations have a ton of OH space. Not uncommon that most of the plane uses the space for non roller bags or large backpacks.
guys with huge camping backpacks use the overhead bin on 777s to Europe so it’s ok for me to put my small bag up there on a 737 to El Salvador
it's going to continue to be an issue as more companies charge more and more for checked bags (only for them to lose them)
Ala carte is an issue but not a problem. If you're traveling light, you don't pay to check a bag. If you're traveling with luggage, you should pay a little more. Don't be the cunt in 14D who clogs the center aisle because you have to take off your fucking jacket before trying to lift your luggage into the overhead bin.
Sounds like you're flying the wrong airlines. Air travel is ridiculously cheap compared to what it used to cost. Splurge a little and check your fucking bag.
Like 80% of my flights in the last year or so I’ve been offered to either gate check or check it at check in for free. Worth the 10 min wait at baggage claim
Any recs for Tortola? Smugglers Bay looks nice. Seems to have the biggest beach area and snorkeling spots.
anyone done Miami/FLL in late June? I know it’s super hot and rains most afternoons but looking for a little weekend beach getaway with the wife and flights there are cheap rn and she likes hot weather anyway
I mean what were you wanting GoodForAnother ? It’s hot you knew it’s hot. Are you just wanting someone to say they’ve been there in the summer?
FLL Hotel Marin with Balcony/ocean view was a nice weekend getaway. Vitolo was an excellent italian place within walking distance
I wanted to know what it’s like, very specifically the heat and the rain, which is why I mentioned those two things
also like maybe some stuff to do, best beaches, you know, things people might share here in the travel thread
