I was randomly at sweetwater on Thursday. Their taproom/patio is super nice. Really like what they did with it.

 

Luckily, it sounds like the new owners will hopefully do something similar. And ST might start operating like Alley Cat Music. But with Music Room and ST closing so close together, it doesn't look good.

 

I was there last Wednesday. It's pretty awesome.

 

Anyone early voted yet? Was thinking about dropping by the Ponce Library location this week, feel like election day will be shit show.

I voted at State Farm walked in and out. This Saturday me and a few friends were watching football at Fowling Warehouse and a buddy walked out at half time and voted in the parking lot in maybe 5 min.

 

Bummer, that was a late-night go-to from the pregame spot at Church. Although I'm old now, not sure you'll find me at MJQ or Sound Table even in a non-COVID world these days...

Started Racket today and couldn’t stop laughing about how we ended up with nude strip clubs. It is so very fitting for this city.

Here’s how: City officials were trying to show how upstanding and moral we were as a city by attempting to prevent the musical “Hair” from touring here, and they said it was because of the nude scene in the musical. They took it to court, annnnnd the judge ruled that there was nothing unconstitutional about nudity. The next day, all the strip clubs went full nude. So Hair still came and then we got full nude strip clubs — all because of these guys trying to take the moral high ground. Lmao.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good wine/cocktail bar in Buckhead/north Atlanta? I’ve got a date tonight but still don’t know the area that well.

I'm just picturing a cop sitting there tired late as hell, and then seeing his radar gun light up 143mph as a car flies by, and him just be like

 

The 22-year-old rapper told police he was speeding because he is a celebrity, saying “people be following me wherever I go,” TMZ reported.

 

That shit is so infuriating and dangerous.

 

No clue who that rapper is.

 

I wish they’d arrest more people like that. I live near 75 and always hear cars/motorcycles raging down the interstate at 12-1 in the morning.

I own a small manufacturing business, and have a book keeper who comes in on the weekend to go through my mail, pay bills, and keep my books in order. Anyway, I came in this morning with a check to sign written out to the "Georgia Labor Law Poster Service" for like $90. Not paying that and the check is getting shredded. They've arrested something like 500 people this year for street racings but minimal trials so far due to covid
