Pregnant lady is undecided and thinks the Republican Party is progressive on abortion and is encouraged by jb’s answers is fucked
if you're actually undecided in October of the third time Donald Trump has been on a presidential ticket I want to run a background check and if you're not curing cancer or something of equally high importance then you probably gotta go.
It's a really tough decision and I'm still undecided On one hand you have a guy who said he was in Hong Kong when he wasn't On the other hand you have a guy who called his running mate and new idol America's version of Hitler. Ugh what am I supposed to do?!?!
trump campaign reporter suggests there was too much praise going to jt bantz and tweeting about Pete rose was the only way his mash potato brain could think of to get attention back
Everyone I follow/like on Twitter is like ya Tim did fine but should’ve done much better. Vance technically won bc he’s a snake but… Then anything I see from normies: actually walz won
Checked Facebook and a post from a MAGA dude lead to replies where he and his friends enjoyed a “respectful” debate and would rather have a JD/Walz ticket to vote for. Insane but it did make me realize Walz did his part perfectly. By being overly respectful, even that group of chuds couldn’t find a reason to dislike or criticize him. Not that it’ll make any difference in how they vote, just notable to me that he disarmed them.
Makes me feel like just maybe the Harris/Walz campaign is a lot closer to knowing wtf they're doing than Dems natural pessimism permits. Appealing to all the shit talkers who hate Trump isn’t gaining traction. Blast the j6 dodge and “you’re not supposed to fact check!” And move on.
to state the obvious the only takeaway is 2020 and how trump reacts to the ensuing media coverage about that going forward
I know JDs views are equally abhorrent but deep down there’s gotta be a good number of republicans that watched tonight and wish they could have that style of candidate back in office and not the constant daily chaos that comes with big don
Vance was a professional pundit. This was his job for a decade. He has negative everyday charisma but he's acceptable on TV.
Is this saying that 14% of those polled are now reconsidering voting for Trump? Or 14% of those polled who had previously aligned with Trump are now reconsidering not voting for him?
Senator Vance, you said you wouldnt certify the election so thank you for that. But I'd like to turn our attention to Governor Walz. Governor, you say you were in Asia in March of 1989 but actually it was April of 1989. Care to explain?
Those people believe in nothing. Say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.
I didn’t watch this, but my right wing family did and my phone blew up all fucking night about it. Fortunately, it was all about how they liked tim waltz and he articulated his points well and they liked how much decorum there was. Ofc they’re too far gone and won’t vote D but I imagine there may be some that saw the performance and may change their mind
That’s who I meant. I know he wasn’t a bad guy per se, but he’s one of my most satisfying movie deaths ever.
But he didn't talk like a psycho and lied constantly so he seems somewhat normal...which is a victory for them
The risk was the two of them getting a little too friendly and folksy a la Cheney and Edwards and that humanizing Vance. Walz struck the right balance of niceness without allowing that to happen.
Abortion became a much more salient issue in Georgia this week but lol at the maga states worried about their FDR socialism program
The only way Vance comes off as likable after this is if you're too stupid or disconnected to know he's lying to your face 98% of the time he opens his stupid mouth. Sadly, there's lots of people that are one or both of those things.
