Holy crap. Yeah, I didn't touch that part of downtown. We were at Moerlein on a sales rep's dime. It was nice.
Yikes. I'm fully vaxed and still want no part of that. Nor the weather, really. On TV, the stands at GABP looked liked a whole bunch of Bernie Sanders memes wearing Reds hats.
y’all have the best team in the central imo. gonna be an adventure along the way with that IF but I like the squad
I hope you're right but we're already staring the year with two starters (including our best one) on the il. They're not supposed to be out long but we'll see when they actually come back. Lineup should be better but the defense is going to be horrendous. We also dumped two good bullpen arms because our owner is cheap. The rest of the central is either average or terrible though so it should be a cripple fight to the finish line. I'd always side with the Cardinals over the Reds because they're a winning franchise while the Reds are perennial losers. Despite some people already calling the season after yesterday I don't think the Reds will suck this year. I just think they'll be average. Could have been above average (which probably wins the division) if our owner spent some money but that didn't happen.
probably going to be at the game tomorrow if i can find a reasonable ticket any leads would be appreciated
You back in Cincy again? Reds have a $10 ticket deal if you show proof you've had at least one vaccine shot https://www.mlb.com/reds/tickets/specials/vaccine
we are but that’s monday-thursday :( i wanna go tomorrow instead of sunday but i am not spending $80 on reds tickets no offense
Best option is might be a scalper. I didn't realize tickets were that high, no offense taken, sheesh.
Yeah I guess tickets are probably expensive to start the season with limited attendance. Can't even imagine what opening day tickets went for this year.
Most employers don’t have employees back in the office yet. The buildings are mostly empty. Should have seen things in April 2020. It was like a zombie apocalypse hit.
Yep, I work downtown as well and I haven't been into the office since March of last year. Have been downtown though for other reasons.
just got tickets for $45 along the left field line. really really excited. we are bringing our 2.5 year old for his first game. always enjoy being in cincy skyline here i come
I prefer Knockbacks because it's probably my favorite bar. Used to live right by it and went there multiple times a week. But Kittys also has really good smoked wings. Smoke Justis right across the bridge in Covington is another place with good smoked wings.
when we were there in the fall, we grabbed a drink at crazy fox in covington and got some wings from o’bryon down the street. they were great. crazy fox wasn’t allowing people inside but the layout looked like a cool little neighborhood bar
SmokedOut Cincy at Fretboard also has great smoked wings if you're ever looking for grub (and beer) in the Blue Ash area.
Is there any way to watch the games in market? I have Youtube TV so FSO isn't available and I mlb.tv only offers out of market games.
How long until Cincy Shirts sells LFG! 2 tshirts? And should I buy a size larger to account for shrinkage?
Lol already have one up https://cincyshirts.com/products/deuces-are-wild?handle=Deuces&variant=39559940898970
The Reds’ 27 runs against the Cardinals in this series was the most runs scored in an opening series since the Big Red Machine scored 33 in three games to open 1976.
only disappointment was skyline was closed for easter tried goldstar since they were open. pretty solid but just not the same
