Hopefully 12/31/20 11:59:59 PM. There are many who fear that the clock will turn over to 1/1/20 12:00:00 AM.
Not really in the mood to game right now, but I see Persona 5 is $8. Definitely going to pick that up for later.
Thinking about Medievil for $12. Heard it wasn't that great, but I loved the original on PS1. Also Days Gone for $15 is a steal. I really liked that game.
Agreed that Days Gone at $15 is a steal. It’s a slow burn like Red Dead 2 but the payoff is tremendous.
The show for 39.99 is the only thing I’m contemplating. but then I’m probably going to double that in diamond dynasty.
Picked up Fallen Order, looks like it will be very enjoyable. Contemplating Days Gone, Ace Combat 7, MediEvil, Ni No Kuni. Maybe NHL20 but I don't have the time to really sink into a season/franchise.
Days Gone is legit. i popped in NHL20 today and the hybrid control System (recommended on the game) is god awful and had to turn it off. I hope they have nhl18 or normal controls or that’s a waste of $20.
Played through Ni No Kuni earlier this year. The animation and overall look of the game are great. The story was a little juvenile for my taste. The gameplay was basically a slightly more advanced version of Pokémon. Unless you’re super into anime stuff, I personally wouldn’t recommend it. I immediately followed it up with NNK2 which, for me, was a much better game and experience.
I put days gone on hold during the quarantine to try out other games but need to go back and finish. Very good but I admittedly get a little creeped out exploring at night.
So is battlefront 2 worth downloading and playing? It's one of the freebies thus month, as you know. Seems like there's been mixed reactions. I suppose I have enough to play though
Downloaded nhl20 from ea access and it's fine. They do have several controls options. I just hope they add an update for the upcoming 24 team playoff
If you like Star Wars, it's worthy of a download just to run through the campaign. PvP is fun, but I also really enjoy SW games.
I'm sure it's been said somewhere already, but since I'm just getting to it: the opening sequence of Jedi Fallen Order on the train is 100% a mix of Uncharted 2's train sequence, plus the escape from the crumbling building, with a dose of Uncharted 4's sliding. Great inspirations to have, but some parts may as well have just been reskinned and up-rezed from UC2. No complaints though, it was fun as hell
The game gets better as you go along. The lightsaber battles were initially super stiff but as you go you unlock new moves and it becomes more fluid
Yeah i got that vibe too, it feels like the stuff is there to be really fun, looking forward to the other force powers. The parry moves are great, the roll over the back was unexpectedly cool.
I wasn't a huge fan of Fallen Order. Solid story and decent gameplay. It's the minimum amount of quality I would seem acceptable in a AAA game and it could have been so much more.
I’m on the last couple of story missions for Days Gone with my next one looking like I’m about to face the 500+ freaker horde. It’s a long game but again, the payoff has been excellent. I’d recommend it to anyone that got through RDR2 and anyone else that wants a zombie title with a ton of action.
I just know I'm in for a treat with the sawmill. I'm not all that great at the game so I feel like no amount of planning and traps I place is going to save me from the ensuing panic of a horde cascading over a building.
Dont set off the Nero trailer before you do it. I had already woken the horde and didn’t have a real benefit of preparation. It took me forever to do a handful at a time
