Alright so I had 4 chances to secure one from last night to this afternoon but all failed (thanks bots). Underdog PS5 retail store Kohl’s will be selling PS5’s. I just got off the phone with the store and the lady said she doesn’t know when they are getting the truck but if they have them in stock and you call to reserve one they will hold it for you. Take it for what it’s worth but it sounds promising.
Calling Kohl’s. They said they don’t think they’re getting any but we’ll see and if they did it would be around Black Friday.

Honestly I waited in line multiple times for the Nintendo Mini and people were in line at like 3am. I waited for over an hour and at like 7:45 someone came out and said ohhhh we gave out tickets like 2 hours ago.
I was able to get one today from Playstation Direct, if you have PS plus there is free 1-2 day shipping. So if you cant get any today I'd try them tomorrow.
First impressions....my COD doesn't show up until tomorrow so it's basically a souped up PS4 pro at this point, which is great since I still have my launch PS4. The SSD is the game changer, just incredible how quick stuff fires up. It is enormous but not as offensively ugly as I thought it'd be based on pictures. The UI is gonna take a second to get used to but for the most part seems relatively intuitive. Astrobot shows what the controller is capable of and feels the most "next gen" of any of the features.
I’m using it without the stand. It’s fine. Lying horizontal. Then I realized I had it upside down when it wouldn’t read discs. Also, can’t get USB audio working through a DAC. Fucking hell, Sony. Does anyone over there pay any real attention? 3D headphone audio!!! But only through shitty gaming headsets or the awful audio from our controller jack! Or our official headset! (which I just fucking ordered)

The console itself is massive. The setup is intuitive and a really friendly experience. Ran an update immediately and then prompted a controller update so I did those. Went ahead and downloaded Bugsnax and the Miles Morales version that comes with the remastered PS4 Spider-Man. My wife and I spent the first hour or so on Astro’s Playroom and passing the controller back and forth like “holy shit feel this”. I played about 45 minutes of Miles Morales and love the little touches with the DualSense. It’s immensely satisfying to hear the little *thwip* coming from the controller when you web swing. Now I’m letting my wife fire up Bugsnax for a bit and it seems charming so far. Console itself is whisper silent and the controllers have a much better build quality and a tasteful weight to them. You looking for any specific questions to be answered?

it is very accurate. but the issue is that no one really knows what Target is going to do with online orders vs in person.
First impressions: haptic feedback is unreal. You can feel differences in water sand walking on wood grass and metal adaptive triggers. Combined with the sound coming out of the controller is just surreal. Its like a 4d experience. No description is going to do it justice you just have to try it for yourself at some point. I really hope game developers capitalize on it. This shit is a game changer if done right. Best feeling controller of all time. I've always been a ps guy but thought the xbox had a better controller. Now its not even close. Also Spiderman at a buttery smooth 60 fps is just . The sound and vibration your controller makes when you thwip your web just feels so right. Lack of load times and a quicker ps menu is also much appreciated. Astros playroom is a great trip down playstation memory lane and shows off the features of the controller perfectly. So many easter eggs of past Ps games. Have not tried bugsnax Will keep yall updated as I go.

It's been... a lot of hours in a row with no sleep and continuous Demon's Souls. Highly recommend giving it a shot, just be patient with it and give yourself time to learn the game mechanics. FromSoft games are notoriously "hard", but they are really smooth once you learn the dance in each of them and some of the best gaming experiences over the last decade you can get. The remake is/feels incredible.
