Looks like you have to be into building games. Every time I’ve watched it played they’re doing nothing but building roads.
It’s definitely not for everyone. I enjoyed it. The acting a mocap alone made the game for me. Gameplay itself was tedious at times. But they give you many tools to overcome some of the tediousness, with the most helpful tool (IMO) given during chapter 4. it’s one of my favorite games of the year, but if someone says they hated it, I totally understand and can see why.
i love building games, and like it in death stranding too, but the "strand" aspect is briliant and why i kept playing
The music, the atmosphere, and the setting along with the genius of Kojima is why I'm fascinated by this game and even though I'm still in the first area.
I'm not creative enough for Minecraft, lol. I played a few games with friends, but would never play it solo.
Not PS4 but The Room series on my iPad is awesome. It's an escape room concept. I fibally played but didn't come close to finishing both God of War and Spiderman though. Both are great I just barely find time anymore unless it's on my switch on an airplane.
I think thats a fairly solid list. HZD makes the top 20 for me for sure and Fallout New Vegas should be on there too. They nailed #1
I whole heartedly disagree that they nailed #1 but without a doubt that’s not an argument I’m willing to have. “horrible” is in response to a list of 20 games in any fucking decade that doesn’t include Bioshock Infinite. Absolutely unforgivable
Playing far cry 5 but gaddamn that game is annoying. Every two seconds I'm getting "kidnapped" into forced story missons to watch 10 minute dialogue of bullshit only to release me halfway across the map without any of my equipment or vehicles. Was on helicopter several hundred feet in the sky in the middle of a side misson but still got hit with a dart somehow and the screen went hazy and got kidnapped. It would be fine if it was a one time thing but this crap happens 9 times this game!
I embarrassingly haven't played that. Loved Bioshock, wasn't interested in #2 and by that point I was sort of done with the series. Its still on my list of games to play.
was it the witcher? i bet it was. gameplay there is trash thus it cant be the best game of the decade
I played the first and I think the second Room games, very fun. I have started GoW and Spiderman, didn't finish. I will definitely get back to GoW, probably not to Spiderman as I have watched Half Knight play through it about 7 times. Love both games but I got pulled in other directions so will return to GoW next year while working through the backlog.
Am I the only one who has a problem starting a game, liking it, but not finishing it? I've always played games to completion in the past, but with so little time to play anymore, I feel the need to play a wider range even if it means not finishing one that I really like. Like right now I am enjoying Infamous Second Son but there are 20+ games, minimum, in my backlog I at least want to try and see what they are like.
This is me. I rarely get hooked to completion anymore. I’ve got a ton of games I’ve started, but not finished. I’ll really enjoy one, but then start something else and lose track. Star Wars did hook me, tho.
Its more a problem for me with my PC backlog but PS4 as well. Doom was the first game I have played to completion in a very long time. I'm ok with it because I want to at least touch every game I've ever bought or downloaded, but it still feels weird leaving a game unfinished if I enjoy it.
I just finished GoW. Didn’t know I last played it with only the last cinematic left. onto Spider-Man now. Tho everyone raves about Titanfall 2 campaign.
i'm looking forward to that campaign too, will be one of the next ones I jump into. I was making my list the other day and completely forgot that I had Dishonored 2 since I have it on disc, not digital. That is one I need to get back to, not sure why I stopped, probably for GoW.
