I think Bill has a deal with someone to use the word “malleable”. I literally don’t hear anyone else use the word but him.
they referenced Pineapple Express and said maybe they will get to it in the next 100 episodes. That movie is 100 percent a rewatchable for our generation, should have been done a long time ago, and should be scheduled for an April 20, 2022 release. easy
Pretty funny pod. Sean asking Bill what his reaction will be if Ben brings home a bottle of lube was not something I was expecting from Sean.
Superbad was a great choice for 200, but I thought they might do Boogie Nights since they have been hinting at it a lot and it’s the 25th anniversary this year.
Would’ve been better if Matt Damon, Will Smith, and Michelle Pheiffer replaced Wahlberg, Cheadle, and Moore.
Based Simmons at the end. I bet he showed the commercial director the scene in Bull Durham that Costner has and said “I’m basically doing this”.
Boogie Nights was banned in Tallahassee, shit ton of religious protest and demonstrations. Same with Amistad except it was angry southern pride folks. I remember thinking where the fuck did I decide to go to college. They ended up releasing both movies anyways. Think Boogie Nights ended up in the art theater.
Boogie Nights has one of the best and deepest casts of any movie I can remember the last forty years. PSH - Oscar winner Julianne Moore - Oscar winner Wahlberg - Oscar nominee Cheadle - Oscar nominee Reynolds - Oscar nominee William H. Macy - Oscar nominee John C. Reilly - Oscar nominee Supporting actors Phillip Baker Hall Luis Guzman Heather Graham Alfred Molina Thomas Jane
Fast 7 gives it a pretty good run for its money Mark "Vin Diesel" Sinclair - multi time MTV Movie Award winner Paul Walker - Teen Choice Award winner Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - NCAA national champion, Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame Michelle Rodriguez - ALMA award nominee Tyrese Gibson - Soul Train music award winner Chris "Ludacris" Bridges - #1 Billboard single "Stand Up" Ronda Rousey - UFC and WWE champion T-Pain - in love with a stripper
The first one is one of the most quotable movies I've ever seen. Then at some point they went from being car thieves to like commandos
think i've seen them all except for the last 2 the first is the same movie as point break except it's car heists instead of bank heists. it's definitely enjoyable.
